Sorry, it is fake. Just take a look at some the arguments presented by an experienced leak handler: https://twitter.com/stagueve/with_replies

There is some minutiae that is easily cleared up when you take into account that the iOS 8 build is one nobody has seen before. Maybe the hardware wasn't assembled to the tee, maybe it didn't make it through quality control, but that software could not be forged by anyone other than Apple, and when has Apple software ever been ported flawlessly to a non-Apple phone?

And that Apple didn't react on something posted somewhere on the internet, proves what?

It proves that it's not a real iPhone. Every single time a device has leaked in the past Apple has immediately forced it to be taken down. The most classic case, of course, is the iPhone 4 left in the bar.

Or perhaps Apple doesn't want to draw attention to these photos and video so its not saying anything.

As kids we all play cops and robbers in the yard with the neighbor kids, some people never grow out of that phase and when they grow up promote themselves to online detectives.

I love all these zoom in shots, analyzing videos and screen shots, lighting, reflections, icon gradians and replaying the videos over and over trying to be the first to find evidence to debunk this story.

I know we're all hyped up, but their has to be a limit. We have less than 3 days to go.

While that's possible, it seems highly unlikely. Again, Apple has not (to our knowledge) issued a take-down notice. If they don't force its removal, it's not real.

They haven't done it since the Gizmodo/iPhone 4 fiasco because it confirms the device is genuine.

Why not be able to chose a blank home screen so you can put a pic of your own choosing there?

But this is the new Apple, who even lifts the NDA on its developer videos. Plus if they force to remove the images, everyone will say this is prove that the leaks must be true. So that draws even more attention to the photos and spoils the surprise for more people. Don't confirm or deny is the best they can do now.

This particular device is simply not genuine. It is, however, very close to what will be announced on Tuesday. The arguments are just too compelling against it.

The white lines being colored looks nice. Looks a lot nicer overall than the 5 and 5S. The 4/4S were still the prettiest though. I always hated the random metal to glass on the 5/5S. The lines break it up nicely.

Why would Apple bother anyways? This is all free press and hype for their product. I'm sure Apple loves sites like MacRumors and 9to5 because they are free PR and hype sites.

Analysis paralysis. By your logic, the hundreds of part leaks must all be fake because Apple never forced them down. The iPhone 4 must be a fake phone because Apple never took down the Gizmodo video. It's too late, the videos are on the internet and show very Apple software on a very Apple phone. We can split hairs until we're all blue but the reality is here to stay.

How anybody can dispute the validity of this leak is mind-boggling.

Hopefully that pictured iPhone 6 is still a fake. I'd much rather see these more refined, thinner antenna separations:

The icons are the wrong color.

More info

I have looked some more at the photo's and the videos.
One user has posted on here a photo that is supposed to be of the Iphone 6 boxes. I doubt that as the home screen on the front of the boxes is of IOS 7, because there is no picture of IOS 8 elements, i.e healthkit etc
there if you look at the passbook icon it has no fourth line as indicated in the pics of the alleged Iphone 6 working model.
Though that may be a fake so does not confirm or deny anything

Regarding those pics and the video I can see some subtle questions that may indicate it is a fake but as of present I don't see them as significant enough to make me see this as a fake.
Though I am wondering one thing though, if it is real then considering the heat Apple would bring to anyone leaking parts, devices etc...why does the user in the video clearly show their face?
just about every picture of a leaked part/device whether real or not fails to show the face of the person leaking the part.
So why this one?
Even if it is fake, i don't think the actual Iphone 6 will look vastly different from this one. it will probably be 99.99% the same.
