Respectfully, I disagree and to be honest it doesn't make sense at all.It doesn't work like that though. You have
iPhone e
iPhone
iPhone Air/Pro
iPad
iPad Air/mini
iPad Pro
Macbook Neo
Macbook Air
Macbook Pro
Watch SE
Watch
Watch Ultra
If anything it's the iPad which is the odd one out, and I'm sure costs them sales with people thinking the budget model is the standard model.
First, I wouldn't put iPad Air and Mini at the same place and I wouldn't iPhone Air with Pro. Those are totally different products, in different price brackets and there also used to be iPhone Mini.
The odd ones are actually iPhone "e", MacBook "Neo" and Watch "SE" considering the fact that they used to produce iPhone "SE" for longer than iPhone "e" and they still produce Watch "SE".
So all of the low budget options are odd, including iPad.
Either call all of them "SE" or "E" or "NEO" or nothing at all.
