Check the graph, before that.. What do you see? (Hint: 10% after test completed)You're showing a 10% utilization. That's not evidence of throttling mitigation at 100% load.

I see a big line st the 100% mark. Maybe I need to upgrade my glasses...Check the graph, before that.. What do you see? (Hint: 10% after test completed)
You what? The graph did show a 100% utilisation period. You're showing a 10% utilization. That's not evidence of throttling mitigation at 100% load.
Man, you guys should start reading completely? But the statement doesn't say the issue affected the 6 core i7.

'We found a bug'. Sure. Lets see how this patch will perform before we let the release the jury.
haha it happens..Derp.Didn't even look at graph. Not even once.
Just read the percentage and started typing. Graphs are like articles - who needs to read 'em.
Complaining was necessary to get Apple to recognize a problem.nah maybe you missed the point. Complaining about everyone getting butthurt about the i9 and crying over it, and making it a big f**** deal when we knew all along it was just a matter of a software/bug fix... but look at the threads, people literally cancelled their orders LMAO
Very hard to believe Apple could not detect it given the workflow that exposes it (very normal video exporting).
Its good its fixed supposedly, but Apple does not look good here. If they actually performed "extensive testing" and failed to use Adobe Premier Export... thats not a good look.
Can you use cinebench?I have the base 2.2 i7 model - would love to do some Geekbench tests in a row but only got the trial version![]()
You won’t believe the amount of software bugs that slip into production with every passing minute. You take no issue with the claim Apple didn't detect this "software bug" before the computer was released? How can people be so unquestioning of this company?
is everyone done bitching now? The smart people said it was a firmware or bug fix, which it was, but bangwagoners wanna jump on apple for everything :/
Wow. Apple admitting to a flaw in a timely manner!
Now... about the upgrade pricing.....

Seriously? They had to do zero testing not to catch that.
YouTuber pressure worked.

"Software bug." Doubt it. But let's see if it actually fixes the issue.
You assume it was thermal throttling, while it seems to have been the power issues.I’ll await revised benchmarks and tests before praising the heavens. I refuse to believe thermal throttling can be significantly resolved through software - it’s basic physics! I hope they’ve sorted it but I’ll be surprised.
