I use Siri occasionally when there's nobody else around, as in both ads. It'd be a lot more useful to me if it could read appointments aloud. I also sometimes use Siri to enter text messages. But it would be more helpful if I had an easy way to activate it in by voice in my car.
I just tried it myself and got the following. Siri is very hit and miss for me, so much that I hardly bother with it.
Most guys I know with iOS devices use black iPhones & iPads. Most girls I know with iOS devices use white iPhones & iPads.
Seems more like a gender thing than a race thing to me.
Such BS. Here's Siri in reality : " I am sorry I can't help you right now". or "I'm sorry I don't understand"
Siri sucks.
I am MUCH faster when I just do it myself versus waiting on Siri processing or constantly missing. The only function that works better (i.e. faster and reliable) is setting a clock alarm. All the others it's just so annoying how slow it is (esp on AT&T and how often I just wait and wait and when it responds it's more often then not one of the above responses.
If I drove, I get how siri might be worth it. But if you don't need hands free operation it's just not impressive.
In fact, I preferred the old voice commands on my 3GS as at least those didn't require a network connection to play a song or call someone. Now a voice command takes so damn long to process!

Most of the people I know have really difficult times even speaking the English language. Siri works perfectly for me, but my buddy from Lawn Guyland..... Not so much. Heck, half the time *I* can't tell what he's saying, and I've known him for nearly 20 years.

I mis-read the title as being "Apple introduces new Airs" and got excited, then I saw the word "iPhone" and had to read the title again. Disappointing, but I like the ads.
From the poster's writing it appears [including his username] to be perhaps from an Asiatic nation? It's beta in English and I imagine worse in the Far East, but we all know it's beta software; and not the perpetual beta of Google.
Just curious where you get your "sales are slowing" information? Every analyst is saying that the 4S is selling very strongly.

If i were a dev id just slap beta over all my products so i have the perfect excuse if something goes wrong i mean, it seems to be the case with Siri. How much longer can this thing be in beta (it was a standalone app before) The new iPhone will be out by then and will make the gold master a iPhone 5 feature only
