Apple and AT&T Websites Get Ready for iPhone 5 Pre-Orders

Wow, we can't ship to a different address than our billing on Apple or AT&T? Ridiculous.
plaace the order...when you get the email just click change order/order status...bam change your shipping address online. I got a email cofirming my adress change also. my card has been test charged (2 1 dollars trans).
Finally went through app on phone, clicked "replace this phone" and after a bunch of reloads it worked. 64GB Black.

ATT site was no good, but Apple site worked pretty smoothly, did my upgrade, though during actual checkout, every stage was slightly nerve wrecking, seemed like i had togo through 4-5 processing stages, each time completely paranoid the server/connection would fail..
but it didn't.
Can't say i'm all that excited though, going from a 4s, this wasn't a typically easy Apple purchase in that i'm slightly skeptical about the 5 for some reason.. it didn't exactly make me go "wow, I need that" like every other previous iPhone. "it's a bit faster" is all.
I bit the bullet simply because i know i'll be able to sell my current phone for a decent price, and because i'm such a sad apple fanboy i won't be able to bear seeing someone else with the phone while knowing it's completely out of stock.

weird because chrome still won't load up, but i was able to get mine on apples site and my business one on vzw's. im on a 2011 macbook with ML. weird.
Is this through Apple or AT&T? If we can change shipping afterwards in a few minutes that would be great news.

I have that same concern. I think once the Apple Store is fully running, at some point, you should be able to change shipping info. Check frequently though before it gets shipped.
I wasn't even able to purchase Apple Care+. Might have to use the Zagg Care.

One small prob... I went onto AT&T's site first since the app was not taking my password at first. I ordered a 5 for my wife, but I did not see that it was a 16 gig model and I wanted the 32 for her. It popped up saying, "your 16gb iPhone 5 will be delivered..." Meh. I could not cancel it Then I went onto the Apple Store App and ordered the 32 for her and a 64 for me. Do you think AT&T will let me cancel the 16 gig I ordered from them?
/Me feels a bit stupid right now, but what could I do? I have the fever

...nope, not in the US. No way, no how, notta happenin' here. They (all corporations) rip us off every which way in this country, they think we expect too much to get a free adapter when they can gouge us (ouch!). My only complaint about Apple. We SHOULD get it free too!
If you don't believe me, check to see if you got the message he did when you order. I pre-ordered my iPhone 5 and did not get that message. It is not there, only in Canada.
I did it with apple...I order throught the app store like at the first 40 seconds...change the shipping address under account info/order ....got an emailed for buying and one for changing the address. and its updated now to my address.
Preordered through Apple.com!
Got a black/slate iPhone 5 64GB AT&T. Also ordered the Lightning adapter. For some reason I couldn't add AppleCare+ to my cart. I'll get that later.
It's getting mailed to my home and I didn't have to give up my grandfathered unlimited plan, text plan or voice plan.

Well, actually, there is a "soft rule" amongst Apple geniuses, they are allowed to sell you Apple Care up to a year after purchase. They just try and encourage people to do it at time of purchase because a sale is a sale and they make a s hitload off of Apple Care.
Keep trying to change address and am getting the following error:

UPDATE:: Guess i have to wait till my status changes from "We've recieved your oder" to "Processing".

What's up with higher state taxes ? I piad almost $25.00 more.
Some states, like CA, charge you tax on the full retail ($650) price.

I'm on the phone waiting about an hour with AT&T and the web not working we are on small business. Anybody got through the phone with AT&T?
