Apple and AT&T Websites Get Ready for iPhone 5 Pre-Orders

Good job I checked my order status, the payment hadn't gone through. My guess is, because my card expires next month, the bank have sent me a new one. Lucky I have another account! Phew.
 
anyone have any luck calling AT&T and ordering it there? I was told they can't take orders until 3 A.M. Pacific
 
It comes with a Lightning-30pin adapter in the box!

use the APPLE STORE APP.

Wanted to post this because someone else did earlier in the thread and that's how I got through. I received an email confirmation almost immediately.


Although going through that method didn't seem to show my plan options or anything.
 
the app is the best way. if it's stuck on loading, force close the app and reload. Took me 4 tries before it asked for my credit card code, then went through.

I'm not the primary #, but on family plan it didn't even give me an option. It still shows unlimited data on the confirmation email though. This was using the app.

You can edit the shipping address once the order has been processed.

I got mine through the apple store as well had to keep refreshing. So happy I got the 9/21 delivery date. Had to wait 2 months last time even though I preordered on the same day lol.
 
Awesome, ordered an iPhone 5 32 GB Black for AT&T. The Apple website and AT&T site were useless. I had to use the Apple Store app on my iPhone 4S.

I was able to keep my unlimited plan and took a screen shot to confirm to the guy above who was worried.

Got through the same way. Does anyone know if i can just jump on the app store tomorrow and change the shipping address or do i need to stay up and do it tonight?

That's weird. Yes the app store gave me errors as well but I just kept pressing the submit/order button and re-entering my password. It took about 5 minutes. The Apple store (on the web) is still down (3:31am). I don't get it. AT&T did not come up until 3:15. Going to bed!
 
Wow, kudos to Apple for including at least ONE adapter. That was a very SMART move on their part!!!!!!

I would do it ASAP, just to be on the safe side. If you have to cancel your order later it could possibly push back the delivery date depending on demand.

Cool ill keep trying to get on app store (cant change it from the apple store app). Washington still does not have apple store (web) active.
