I think I saw something today where it is going to give 5 gig before it starts to throttle you down.
 
Is there any way to avoid CA tax of the full price? I'm buying 2 iPhones, and it would be $115 in taxes right over there. I heard that if you buy it from a retailer like Walmart, you pay taxes on the subsidized price ($200), is that right?

Verizon for sure. I have two laptops ready to go, MBP and MBA. One I'll go for the Apple store, the other I'll go thru verizon.
 
Thanks for the "cross upgrade" tip! I almost forked out $649, my daughters had full upgrades available that won't be used for some time so I'm a happy guy. I called ATT and verified that this is easy as a quick call to activate on my number when the phone arrives.

Not looking forward to the lack of cases, holders, and adapter cables but that's the price we pay for jumping first. Still shaking my head that Apple would not have at least a bumper available on release, pretty lame. Anodized aluminum is simply not going to wear as well as stainless steel and glass, no way. These 5's are going to look pretty rough in a year from now without a nice case, mark my words.
