I actually don't see the problem with the battery case. What is it that bothers people so much about it?

This is the apex of everything that is wrong with Apple now. They are more concerned with style over substance. Making things unnecessarily thin when no one was complaining about the size. Waiting 2-3 years to put out a new release that is no better, faster, or stronger than what was released before. Instead of putting in better options that people would use & love, they cut them out, call it courage, and cripple the functionality. Apple has fallen prey to it's own vanity.

Apple has become Samson. Unmatched strength, rugged good looks, and flowing long hair. The death of Jobs has led Delilah to the door. Ive, Federighi, Cue, Cook...they all came in to cut the hair of Samson, albeit unintentional, but to make Samson thinner, more streamlined, and better looking, they ended up taking away all his strength.

Wow, they can't even stop themselves doing their detailed technical manufacturing processes thing, even with a book. No really though, this thing looks great. Apple has just made me want to buy a book to hold and look through, just because it sounds so nice.

Ok wow I just noticed they're making it in two sizes. Book and Book Plus? Are they serious? This has to be a joke. Who makes the same book in two sizes? What the actual ****?

You've just reinforced my argument for books. They'll still be around when Macs, iPads, and PC's do become obsolete. Maybe not tomorrow, but 10-20 years when some new technology supersedes what we use today.

PDF's are fine. But in this throwaway society some things should have permanence.
 
Looking at the video... how can they even justify getting out of the display business and start looking at those DISGUSTING LG Displays instead of their own ones in the future?
HOW? HOOOOW?

No time to spend on computers, but plenty of time to get into book publishing. What a lost cause is Ive! With no one to stop him, his ego has grown so big he believes his own spin.

What is disgusting is a monitor with only one input and no buttons.
