By calling this the "iPhone X (Ten) and skipping 7S to iPhone 8, what is going to happen next year, iPhone 9 or 11 or go by the model year like they do with Mac releases......

Look for there to be no more new LCD iPhones after this year. It will be AMOLED in three sizes as was rumored a couple of months ago. I look for them to drop numbering like they did with the iPad, particularly since I'm not expecting any meaningful design refresh for four years or more.

I really do like the iPhone X, my only complaint is watching videos with that cutout would drive me insane. Can't they just black out the corners so it's a rectangle?

The Stainless Steel Bezel is going to scratch like the Stainless Steel Apple watch. Face ID seemed like a gimmick. I am leaning towards the iPhone 8 since they both have the same specs and I can get the iPhone 8 Plus in 256GB cheaper than the iPhone X in 32GB. I wish the iPhone X had both touch id and face id.

Face ID.... Touch ID can be used without even looking at the phone or on a flat surface.

It will look like everyone is taking selfies all the time just to unlock their phone.

Thats really not how it works at all. Its 3D, you dont have to hold it up like a selfie.

Absolutely when it's price has dropped, I bet in a few months a Note 8 brand new will cost HALF that of the iPhone X new. Think about that... and you can increase its storage..

I cannot believe they've price gouged by dumping the 128GB option..
