The new watches look cool, but that may be because I don't have an Apple Watch. Maybe one day.

Anyway, I think the X is ugly. And the 8 looks very similar to the 6s and 7.

I wonder what will happen to the iPhone 8's new beautiful glass back after you drop the phone for the first time???

At current exchange rates that should be $1219 for the 64Gb. So they are skimming another $100 off of Canadians? OK, now maybe I'm losing interest (or buying one from the U.S.)

UK prices are disgusting as well. Even with taxes factored in I will save £200 by buying it in America. Thankgod the other half is Texan!

are we sure that photos and videos taken with phone will have that cut out? so ill watch netflix and have the movie cut off?

and the first live FaceID unlock failed....
hopefully it's gonna work in real life...
In fact it didn't. Phone has been restarted before and it always require PIN to unlock and reactivate Touch ID. Apparently FaceID too. You could read the message at the top of the screen.

Face ID.... Touch ID can be used without even looking at the phone or on a flat surface.

It will look like everyone is taking selfies all the time just to unlock their phone.

Question is who grabs their phone not looking at it? If you think about it, like never....

The design of the X is horrifically ugly...as is the price.

Also, its not true edge-to-edge display.

I went to look at a Samsung 8 at my local tech store before the Keynote. At this point, I'm convinced Samsung is at least 2-3 years ahead of Apple right now.

I honestly think they need to skip a year and really try something categorically new with the phone technology.

I believe the FaceId failing on his first attempt during the demonstration may in fact be because his face wasn’t actually in the phone, that is why it didn’t unlock for him. Accidents do happen as it may have been an oversight when they were setting up
It looks as if the iPhone was just turned on, so it needed the passcode to use FaceID – same situation with TouchID

Already wondering about AUP. Extra payment on old phone or Apple have some kind of consideration. What if can't get right away because of production too ??

I thought I was done with Apple after they "courageously" ditched the headphone jack. But now that I can turn myself into a talking poop emoji, I may have to reconsider. Obviously Apple understands what the consumer really wants.

Lol these threads are so funny, people hate the phone, it’s horrible, Apple screwed up, it’s so expensive, blah blah blah..... then you see the same screen names posting about tracking their new phone, or ordering online, or lining up in a store.... comical
