I thought I could get over the side bezels, but finding it pretty hard to overlook that for an "all glass" front. I think Samsung did it better with the curved screen to give it a more beautiful "all glass" look.
I watched the whole keynote and as expected no surprises at all. The whole thing was a bit ....
However, the most irrating / annoying thing about the keynote was the 14 year old adolescent that Apple insist on putting on the front row, who shouts "wahooooo" at basically the turn if every slide!
Intrigued about LTE on the watch. I need to watch the keynote again, but I am sure he said great for short periods without a phone...which might imply the battery won't last very long if solely on LTE for period of time.

Damn has it been that long, guess it's time to replace my original iPhone. Has been running a tad slow and won't work unless plugged in. Sorta defeats the mobile aspect of it. Even with 100 foot extension cord.
Not concerning to me. I don't have a twin. That's what Samsung phones are for.....twins.

so like, hold it for 3 seconds for siri and 5 seconds for off? I HATE Siri so that doesn't sound pleasant
i was indeed happy myself hahahaha and yeah its in Dutch though, iv even finding any video i can see to see that OLED in action. Seems to be the general rule is , iPhone will 16:9 videos and photos on the X until you manually zoom it to take advantage of the full display.

money is only as good as what you can trade for it. In and of itself, it's just a piece of inked linen.....boring.

How can you tell oled video improvements by watching replay on iPad with LCD display?
I've upgraded with Apple every year. Yes, I'm one of "those" guys but I normally sell my old phone. I end up paying $100-200 out of pocket every year.
This year, I'm not sure if I am. Two things really got me with this announcement. First, the price point. Sorry, I would have to buy the 256gb model and that is way too much. I felt bad enough paying $949 for the 7+. Second, the delayed launch of the iphone X. I mean c'mon, why such a delay in applying technology that has been out for years?
The note 8 is looking mighty appealing right now. Especially since Best Buy is still offering $150 off for the pre-order.

You know why there is a portion cut out from the screen? It's Joni's idea... it resembles the bite out of the Apple.
That's NOT Edge to Edge. It's just another Bezel to Bezel display. Even Samsung managed to take the display all the way to the sides on the Galaxy S8. And the wireless charging is not wireless, it sits on a pad with a wire, stop calling it that! Super disappointed in Apple this time around.
Put them on ignore; makes the forums a much more pleasant place to visit.
Amazing how much time and effort some folks are willing to spend trying to spread their negativity. I like to think they're paid to dump on Apple, rather than think they believe it's the most productive or enjoyable use of their limited time on this earth.
Just saw landscape video on iPhone X. The notch is not seen as the video is reduced bothe left and right by black bar. So that puts the notch BS to rest.
