That's how I took it. Anything in the iTunes Music Store can be streamed.

Huh? When did they say anything like that.
Now, I would assume that for $10 per month but I also would think they would have screamed it from the rooftops, but not one word.

The real question that we all want to know is will iTunes Match be integrated. If it's not I cant see myself using this music streaming service.

think apple didn't reevent the wheel with apple music and this connect rubbish.
Artists would have posted stuff about a new album (soundbits, lyrics) before on Facebook or instagram if they really wanted to

did they say anything about offline listening? can u store music in ur device? or do u have to be connected always? its a deal-breaker for me when im travelling etc...

Usual haters on presenters, like most people on this forum could present in front of a worldwide audience with calm and poise a massive project that you worked on for years.

Anyway, Apple figured out that the most effective system of music discovery besides one's friends is radio and implemented tastemaker DJ's to serve up music with the human personality and touch that's worked since the 50's in promoting artists.

I know, right? Not one person on this board could average double figures in the NBA playoffs.

Can I play any song I like?
Can I make a "radio" from any song I like?
Can I pick any song to listen to?
Is the entire iTunes music server available to me?
Can I skip as many songs as I like?
Is there an download/offline feature?
What happens to iTunes Match? Still $25 a year on top of the $9.99 a month?
Why would I ditch Spotify?
Is there a student discount?

So many unanswered questions!

Yes.
Yes.
Probably.
Yes.
Yes.
Separate, but works together.
You don't have too, both offer similar streaming services.
Potentially!

No mention of iTunes Match or iTunes Radio. No discussion about ways Apple is making it easy for people to switch from Spotify, Rdo, etc. Eddy kept using the word revolutionary but I'm still waiting for that part? A 24/7 radio station? I can pull up an app right now and listen to any BBC radio station live whenever I want. Why would I pay $10 for that?

Read the question's below the Apple Music page on Apple.com iTunes Match is not together with Apple Music and music be paid for separately

Streaming on Cell Data Takes up too much data for this to work for us. When iTunes radio first came out, my family loved it. However, we were constantly going over our data allotment (10GB) per month and so I stopped it. The costs were outrageous, and I already give AT&T enough money each money to increase our data plan. So on top of our $14.99 a month, we are looking at major data overage charges. Just not going to work.

thats why i will continue to use spotify. they have a partnership with t-mobile over here so the data is excluded from my data volume

how about iTunes Match???

iTunes Match, from what I can read from the Apple Music website, will be it's own separate service.

Personally, it's exactly what I expected: A merger of Beats Music with iTunes. Im already a Beats Music subscriber so I'm going to love this. I'm also really looking forward to connect, provided my favorite artists really make use of it :)

Honest question because that Apple Music section was a complete mess.

Can someone do like an infographic on Apple Music vs Spotify?

Why would I want to cancel my Spotify Subscription (student account costs $4.99) for Beats One or whatever its called.

Is this radio? What will happen to iTunes Radio? What will happen to Beats Music app? Can you even stream music? Can you listen to them offline? Are there ads and skips? Can you opt out of all that social crap?

Questions?
Here are our liner notes.

What happens to my iTunes library?
Your iTunes library is still yours. You can access your entire collection from Apple Music or the iTunes app on Mac or PC.

How does Apple Music know what songs are in my personal library?
With an Apple Music membership, your entire library lives in iCloud. We compare every track in your collection to the Apple Music library to see if we have a copy. If we do, you can automatically listen to it straight from the cloud. If you have music that’s not in our catalog, we upload those songs from iTunes on your Mac or PC. It’s all in iCloud, so it won’t take up any space on your devices.

Does Apple Music work with Apple Watch?
With a membership to Apple Music, you can sync music to your Apple Watch and play it back — even when your paired iPhone is not nearby.

Does Apple Music work on Android phone?
Yes, we are excited to offer Apple Music for the Android platform. It is coming this fall.

How does the family plan work?
Up to six people in your family can enjoy the full library and unlimited listening that come with Apple Music. All you need to do is set up iCloud Family Sharing on your iOS device or Mac and invite family members to join.
