Be careful with that as mine was still showing the annual as being active (in addition to Apple Care One), so I had to cancel the annual.
Just FYI - it took about an hour and a half but the annual subscription cancellations finally showed up without me doing anything after adding my MBA/MBP to the new plan :

I've been trying to add mine and am also getting an error. Has anyone added devices that don't show up immediately as eligible, but aren't shown in the ineligible section? I wonder what diagnostics they need to run. I have a MPB I want to add that has never had AC before, and it's not showing up.

For mine it says "Ineligible for Plan" instead of "Not Eligible for Plan" and its just blank and shows nothing there listed at all. Only Eligible devices that it shows are 3 products that all currently have AppleCare+ either on a monthly or yearly.

That’s under iPhone Settings, General, AppleCare and Warranty, Add Device, then click on “Don’t see one of your devices?” ? Are you on iOS 18.5?

I suspect Apple might be having issues with their servers due to so many people wanting to do this.

The Support app AppleCare section is broken for me. It shows AppleCare for my iPhone as Expired. Perhaps Apple needs to update the Support app.

on iOS 26 beta 4... I'll take a look on another device I have that still is on iOS 18.5

I am getting this as well. I see no option to add my MacBook Air (which is a few months old, and not on AppleCare). Has anyone been able to add such a device?

Between my MBP 16”, Pro XDR Display, and iPad Pro, I’m saving about $15/mo.

However, I keep getting errors when I try to add my Series 10 Hermes watch with an existing two year plan — server cancelled transaction.

Also, my iUP iPhone isn’t eligible for some reason. :(

For me my devices show eligible but when I try to pay I get "Unable to process your request. Try again later." followed by "Purchase Failed. Server canceled the purchase."

Same here. I was able to add my MBP and my work MBA but I can’t add my Watch or iPhone because of the same problem you listed.

I’ll get savings if I can add my iPhone but so far, even now, can’t add my iPhone yet. Will try tomorrow.

Might have noticed I’m a Star Trek TNG Borg fan. <cough>. (Macs are named BorgCube :)).

Savings, adding theft and loss beyond iPhone, a single payment date - and coverage that keeps going. That's what I'm looking for. It says combining my iPhone, iPad, and Watch will save $10/month.

Good deal for people with multiple apple devices. Things like Apple Watch existing apple care + subscriptions, or iPad minis who area already below the $5.99 extra device cost may be worth just staying put though.

Its telling me only my watch and airpods are eligibile. My iPad Pro (M4), iPhone 16 Pro and MacBook Pro M4 are somehow ineligible? Not even letting me try a device check on them.

My iPhone, Apple Watch Ultra, MacBook and iPad all added just fine, they were on monthly except the MacBook Pro which is on an annual. However, my Vision Pro (which it recommends I add to the plan) keeps giving me errors when I try to add it. I did prepay the entire 2 years up front on the Vision Pro, so I’m wondering if this is the cause but would like the prorated refund and add to this plan instead. I’ll give it some time and call in if I have to.

I think the only devices that show as automatically eligible are those that currently have AppleCare+ on them. For the others, there must be some kind of secondary check you need to do once you have signed up with the other devices.

That makes sense then, cause I currently have AC+ on the watch and airpods. I'll wait til things settle down I guess, it must be coming with better instructions. Thanks

These are the devices I’m having it error out on me when I try to add.

I prepaid AppleCare+ upfront for my Watch and iPhone - both result in errors when trying to add. lol. I think this is it.

Hopefully they fix it. If you call up support please let us know how it went.

Someone earlier in the thread said they successfully signed up even with pre-paid on two other devices and they show as being refunded now.

Same here.
1. iPad Pro M4 13" applecare+ 2yr purchased upfront
2. AirPods Pro 2 applecare+ 2yr purchased upfront
Both devices get the same error message when trying to add, even though those are listed as eligible devices.

The airpods pro 2's 2yr applecare+ coverage ends tomorrow. So, I'll be able to add this to the new applecare one by tomorrow, if this is only an error on Apple's sever end. Otherwise, I'll lose the eligibility on this airpods since headphone is given only 1 year of eligibility according to the apple's policy.

I was able to add my 2 MacBooks - that had the annual AppleCare+ subscription. But the 2 devices I have with the 2 years of pre-paid AppleCare+ don’t seem to be working just yet. :(

My iPhones 2 year purchased upfront expires in September, I really hope I don’t have to wait till then to add the 3rd device lol. Hopefully they fix this soon. It does show the devices as eligible.

Initially I was getting the "failed" message when trying to sign up my iPhone with a prepaid plan. Eventually I got it signed up on my Mac (and it might have been through Firefox, not via Settings - I forget). Soon thereafter, I got a notice of refund of $154.55. And about an hour after that, I got an Apple Gift Card for that amount.

Interesting interesting. I got the notices of cancellation mentioning a refund, but no Apple Gift card yet. Cool.
