We're expecting four iPhones in three sizes in 2020. The iPhone 12, which will be the more affordable iPhone model available, will come in 5.4 and 6.1-inch size options. The 5.4-inch iPhone will be the smallest iPhone that Apple has released in years, and rumors suggest it could even be called the "iPhone 12 mini."

I've seen this statement multiple times on Macrumors. Is the 2020 iPhone SE not an iPhone? Was it not released 6 months ago? Isn't its screen size 4.7"?

Speed = 5G
speed = fast processor
Speed = find your list items faster

so there could be iPhone, new macs and possibly other updated systems and maybe airtags?

should be interesting

Hilarious how people here "act" excited then right after the keynote they blast Tim Cook with the "Timmy" crap and constantly say "Worse Keynote Ever" in order to bring the forum down. THEY KNOW the product will outsell everything else and it burns them up simply because it's Apple.

Apple has already "Air" tagged my wallet since the //+. It has been full of air/no money as I've continually purchased their products for me and my family :D

I would hope that they will also announce the Apple One bundles launch date (or actually launch it on Tuesday)

It'll almost certainly be launched alongside Fitness+, but I suspect they would like both available by Nov 1st (when everyone has to start actually paying for Apple TV+)

I can’t wait! I went from the X to the standard 11 last year. I was trying to save some money but I miss the OLED screen. Now just need the keynote to see if I want to go pro this year.

Please, please, pleeeeaasseeee let there be an Apple Silicon Mac

Apple likes the tech press to do some of their marketing for them, which requires product releases be a slower trickle. I expect something big like the first Arm-based Mac to be a separate event next month (possibly alongside 1-2 other things)

I know iPhones are Apple’s biggest sellers, and plenty of people still get excited over them, but I’m much more interested in Macs and the ARM transition; a new Apple TV; and Air Tags to name a few.

I just don’t feel like I need anything more in a phone! The Xs Max is already nearly perfect for me. What more do you need? The 11 Pro looks kind of cool and the bigger battery and ultra-wide camera are nice-to-haves, so I’ll eventually get one of those, but it’s not exactly high on my bucket list.

5G is also kind of meh right now. It might help in certain situations like packed events/concerts/festivals in the city, but nobody is doing that thanks to COVID. Maybe in a year it’ll be more compelling; on next year’s models.

Personally, the only benefit for Apple releasing new phones any more is that it makes the older models cheaper!

Oh don't worry many will be bashing apple after this event.. Happens every year

any chance for a new 11 inch ipad pro? I'm currently leaning towards getting the ipad air 4 but if Apple releases a Pro at this event it would be a tough call!

That's cool. I think this is to tease that the UW chip and Airtags tech will be able to show you where something is located in all 3 dimensions.

Total size, not just screen size.

The only physical dimension that's mentioned by Macrumors is screen size before they drop in the statement about "smallest iPhone released in years." If they mean the dimensions of the entire phone, they should reference those dimensions, not the screen size.
