Everyone with $1,500 iPhone 12 Pro Maxes will have THE BEST mobile/smartphone experience while sitting on their couches during pandemic lockdown this winter!
November wouldn't be so bad if it's like the X and is early. Big difference in release early Nov vs into holiday season.
I will definitely look to MR for the latest articles on my watch, as I will be at work.
Can't wait for that Qualcomm modem instead of the crap Intel modem in my X!
Wonder what the preorder time will be this year. I’m assuming they’ll stick with the 5 am PT launch. I prefer 12 am PT.
The Apple TV app ... is an app. With most TV's including the Apple TV app now, why do you even need a Apple TV box anymore?
Didn’t they drop the S label after the 6s? Even though the 8 is essentially a slightly upgraded 7
MacRumors consists of members and viewers from all over the globe. Maybe you could be more specific when you say 'around here!'![]()
There won't be a stage, it will be virtual and online.Phil Schiller pls be the guy on stage to introduce the new iphones🙏
Apple events will never be the same without you😪
Is there any chance Touch ID makes it into the new iPhones like they did with the new iPad Air? With all of this mask wearing it drives me nuts to have to use a passcode to pay and unlock my phone.
You know what I think you are right and I forget I can pay with my watch! Much much easier. that still doesn't solve the problem of unlocking it though. Would be nice if they would unlock if it was paired with watch like my MacBook Pro does.Handily, there's a watch to pay with!![]()
Meh. Apple is roughly $24 off its 52-week high; if it were to get back there (not unreasonable at all) you'd hardly have to buy 50 shares to make enough money for a phone.
The math is not that hard... the real problem is timing. Waiting for it to get back to $137 would be painful, and you'd see a lot of iPhone 12s in the wild before you might be able to buy one with stock profits. Not to mention that selling 50 shares of AAPL just to recoup the money for a phone would be a silly, short-sighted move. Buy Apple for keeps.
That is correct. Save all that money you were going to spend on new products, and buy Apple stock the day after the event. Then sell that stock later when after the stock has bounced back, and get all of those products for free using the profit you made. You heard it here first.
50 shares at the current price of $113 = $5,650.
A reminder of your original post:
You said take the money you were going to spend "on new products". Were you planning to buy $5,000 in products? Then you'd need $5,000 in profit to buy said products? So yeah, based on your original statement, the math doesn't come even close to working out. While investing the cost of the iPhone and (hopefully) increasing your holdings could be a wise move...it most certainly would not pay for a new device with the increase anytime soon.
Or maybe it's a pupil, an iris, and a sclera. Apple glasses anyone?Ah those circles are probably the airtag, HomePod mini and regular HomePod...
No, you buy after the stock drops from the aftereffects of overhype (happens every single event) and then you sell when it bounces back after everyone realizes Apple is going to make a killing off the new products. (happens every single time). There’s something a bit wrong here with this plan...unless you are you assuming the stock will double for the rebound?
