That video introducing it was quite amazing actually. Much better than I expected. Considering purchasing it for sure.

Correct? Dark Matter 1 week ago.

Personally think it’s looks amazing, would genuinely not be put off by price but it’s just too big and going back to Touch ID on its own is a no…shame

Was NOT expecting to like it but I have to admit I want it.
Is not it what Android users were saying all along? Apple fans loudly reject all new designs invented by other companies only to become enthusiastic about them years later when Apple finally copies the design. It's probably a coping mechanism. One needs to justify why he can't have something other people have been enjoying for years.

Really my only issue with it is no MagSafe for charging and holding it. The usb c unfolded is on the left side also so what is the charging cable going to look like? I see it has semi opened for clock and things but how do you charge it like that? Seems like an afterthought to use as a display at night if charging it is awkward.

For the durability claim,

IP68, ceremic sheild, nano texture, and new glue sounds promising.

But as someone who broke two flip and one fold, I will wait until October and see how it goes in "real world tests".

Just realized the Duo only supports Apple Pencil USB-C, so no pressure support and useless to me - I want to draw, not write

Still think I'm gonna try it, after living with Max sized phones since the 6 plus I realized I don't need all that screen real estate most of the time.
If the screen is as good as it looks like in the promo videos it's gonna be fun to have a more compact phone that I can turn into a miniature tablet when I can sit down

It also doesn't look too big that I wouldn't ever want to use it open on the go

I think I'm gonna like it

It DOES have MagSafe. It is in the devices specs:

"MagSafe, Qi2 and Qi wireless charging"

so, here we go, there is it. i still dont understand this device, but i honestly wish, everyone who does and now finally got it, will be happy and satisfied.
that he used the „one more thing“ reference, i really liked it. a bow to Steve, and also a statement that there is a new guy in town, after so many years without that iconic sentence.

I wish it could run Sidecar but I guess it doesn't support iPad-only apps.
It'd be a wonderful extra (iPad mini-sized) screen for a MacBook.
Anyone tried OpenDisplay on an iPhone?

Instant buy if it wasn't for the weight. 254 grams??!! 21 grams more than 17 Pro Max which was already a brick. I understand it's much better built than the competition but this seems so heavy when closed down especially.

What a beautiful little thing. Prices in Norway are 500 dollars less with VAT, than I thought.

It makes this a good offer for filthy rich norwegians, of which I am not. But I am glad the prices did not go far up.

My plan to buy a new iPhone in 2030 are going good. Cause the iPhone in your hand is always the better one...
