Apple doesn't sell your data. Why should they be at a disadvantage compared to services that offer "free" storage paid for by your data?

Have they worked out how to combine my two Apple IDs into one yet? I have an Apple ID used to buy music and then Apps on an iPod and then a @me.com one when that was launched. It's always been inconvenient, but as more are more gets tied into iCloud, having two Apple IDs is a real pain. Why can't I migrate the purchases on my original Apple ID onto my @me.com/icloud.com ID?

This is a workaround but, can’t you just use family sharing between these two accounts?

You'd almost think it would cost Apple more than $1 a month to actually manage and bill for that level.
I'd put much more on the cloud if it didn't cost me money - just bothers me. Or give me the 5 per Apple device I own.

If it stacked between a phone, tablet, laptop and desktop … I may actually try to use it.m again. For years it’s been relegated to an ongoing backup of some phone and tablet stuff … because I have seen too many account and server issues going back to itools, mobileme and even icloud. My wife gave up her paid icloud level due to unresolved issues between iphone, ipad and windows.

Cool a VPN built into your browser. I’ll take it i guess. Of course I’ll still run my real VPN on my router to cover the whole household, not just my browser activity.

Given that it’s a no cost add on to existing plans, I’d imagine that is the case.
