Yes exactly, it’s bad marketing. When I hear ”plus” I immediately think “greedy money-grabbing nerf hearders!”Why call it plus and not just include it in regular icloud.
If theres no extra charge why plus it

First two tiers, free 5GB & 50GB one are still a joke.
50gb should be the free one and 200GB and up paid.
So 50gb cloud storage is free lunch, I see. Why? While Google does have a free tier that's 15GB vs. Apple's 5GB, their tier pricing is in-line with Apple's. There's no such thing as a free lunch.
This is a workaround but, can’t you just use family sharing between these two accounts?Have they worked out how to combine my two Apple IDs into one yet? I have an Apple ID used to buy music and then Apps on an iPod and then a @me.com one when that was launched. It's always been inconvenient, but as more are more gets tied into iCloud, having two Apple IDs is a real pain. Why can't I migrate the purchases on my original Apple ID onto my @me.com/icloud.com ID?
Do you mind sharing what your hardwares are like that worked with HomeKit? Thanks.Happy I can add the rest of the house security cameras to HomeKit secure video.
You'd almost think it would cost Apple more than $1 a month to actually manage and bill for that level.
I'd put much more on the cloud if it didn't cost me money - just bothers me. Or give me the 5 per Apple device I own.
It sounds more like a simplified version of TOR with two relays. So this pretty much a built in vpn?
Probably just to clarify it's a paid service like their other onesNot sure why they had to rename it
To Google, you are the product...Why? While Google does have a free tier that's 15GB vs. Apple's 5GB, their tier pricing is in-line with Apple's. There's no such thing as a free lunch.
People who spend $800+ on a new phone then whine about cloud storage costs of $0.99 a month, never cease to amuse me…First two tiers, free 5GB & 50GB one are still a joke.
50gb should be the free one and 200GB and up paid.
Yeah, 50GB should be free... I think you're better served somewhere else. Bye now!First two tiers, free 5GB & 50GB one are still a joke.
50gb should be the free one and 200GB and up paid.
Given that it’s a no cost add on to existing plans, I’d imagine that is the case. This is going to be included already in Apple One amirite?
