can I use iPhone 12 mini apple leather case with the 13mini? I didnt see if they are different physically dimensions or not.
Is it a joke, or the last add was iPhone on the motorcycle. Was there a recommendation that it shouldn’t be done?
I'm usually the one that says "oh people say that every year..." And while these are great devices, I find myself to be underwhelmed in terms of excitement. I know there can't be ground breaking innovation every year, and maybe we just got spoiled with the technology boom/slingshot from 2005-2015... maybe we are being too critical. But as someone who is in the market for a watch upgrade, I think I'm going to hold off another year. Was hoping for additional health sensors such as temperature.Thought the same thing. “Bigger battery!” With no detail or real time numbers. Not falling for that trick again…..
Glad they kept the mini. Best phone I've ever had when it comes to form factor but unless they swap out the pointless wide angel for zoom and give it better battery I'll be going back to the pro.
I still might go for the 13, seems like a significant enough upgrade. I’ll be waiting until sometime next year anyway as I intend to go Apple refurb.I’m still on the iPhone X because they haven’t given me a good enough reason to upgrade yet. I hope it lasts me another year.
you guys say this every year lol, but yes it was underwhelming lolThe worst Apple Event in years!
You're not being too critical. Apple doesn't make major changes to their phones because they don't need to. People just buy them because it's new. Most smartphones have a hole punch notch for the front camera, fingerprint reader under the screen (or power button), on and on. It's not that Apple can't make these features, they're making a conscious effort NOT to. Every year we hear the same thing about all these wild features Apple will have for the "next" iPhone, and every year people are let down and complain when these supposed "inside leaks" turn out to be B.S.I'm usually the one that says "oh people say that every year..." I need more information about macro mode!

The new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, as rumored, includes a smaller notch allowing for more display area. In specific, Apple said that the notch is 20% smaller. Staying on the front, the new Super Retina XDR display is 28% brighter with 1200 nits peak brightness.

Inside, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini are powered with the brand new A15 Bionic chip. Built on the 5nm process, the A15 Bionic chip features a 6-core CPU with two high-performance and four high-efficiency cores. Embedded into the A15 Bionic chip is a new 16-core Neural Engine, capable of 15.8 trillion operations per second.
On the back, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini include a new and more advanced dual-camera system. The wide 12MP sensor allows for 47% more light, a 26mm focal length, and on the Ultra Wide camera, the new iPhones include sensor-shift technology from the "Pro" iPhones.
With video, Apple is introducing "Cinematic mode," which uses the power of A15 to automatically blur the background during a video, allowing the subject to stay in focus. During filming, users can tap on different subjects to shift focus.
Carrying over from the iPhone 12, the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini features Ceramic Shield, IP68 water resistance, and five new colors, including pink, blue, midnight, starlight, and red.

Why spend money making the notch incrementally smaller if they're just going to put it all behind the display next year? I don't see the ROI.
New colors, speed bump, camera improvements are to be expected. Very much an "S" year.
