Two interesting tidbits about the A15 CPU:

The GPU is now differentiated between normal and Pro, 4 vs 5 cores. Could this be binning, or do they actually manufacture two versions? Wonder what the Mac version will have.

Also, they compared speed only to competition, not to A14. I would expect this to mean it does not have impressive gain over A14 in pure speed. It could have big improvement in power per watt though, given the increased battery life. Again, wonder what this means for the Mac version, where the heat is already a non-issue. Perhaps the M2 will be more diversified from A15, compared to A14/M1?

Truly the best comment of the day. One more year of people whining about it was doing my ears in.
Honestly it isn't as bad as the people whining about battery life. Every thread anymore is just filled with battery life complaints on every model. I'm convinced these people must be jumpstarting cars or powering drones off of their phones to have this much to complain about battery life.

I have a 12 mini for Pete's sake, and the battery life is just fine. I can't imagine on God's green earth how a 12 Pro Max needs a bigger battery.

I seriously can't believe it's not selling well but in some ways makes sense. I don't have data but I would suspect women tend to get bigger phones so that least half the population and apparently a lot of guys don't either.

I'm probably upgrading this year because of the mini going away. Just weird how things switch...small phones use to be the status symbol and now it's these phones resembling a iPad Mini. I would need a purse or fanny pack to carry it.
I got a 12 mini last year and if rumors continue to point to the mini being discontinued, I'll probably be purchasing a 13 mini in about 10 months to hold me over for a few years.

Glad they kept the mini in the lineup. My wife got a 12 mini last year and I really do like its size. I am definitely not due for an upgrade until next year (I take advantage of the "free with tradein deals" these day), but am hoping they keep the mini form factor as an option then too.

I used to love the larger phones for things like maps, but both of our vehicles have carplay now, so that is less of a necessity than it ever was before. The only thing that still pushes me towards the larger devices now is the camera quality, but the price difference is large enough that it pushes them off the table anyway.

Y-e-a-h. Just like there’s always a new fad, there’s always the next big complaint.

I guess, for those who check several social networks every 30-seconds, operating times probably are dismal.

The usual 'S' update. Minor update. Bigger battery is good. Glad that base storage is now doubled. Not happy with the colours. Since the iPhone 11, it has been pastel colours. Was wishing for XR like colours. The pink is so light.

This is a very welcomed surprise...

Interesting that Apple is starting to differentiate between non-Pro and Pro models with GPU cores.

No BT 5.2, nor support for more than one hearing devices in accessibility menu yet as found in Samsung ASHA protocol. Also, the supposed things they were talking about for hearing impaired folks and such still nowhere to be found. I’ll stick with my 12 Pro Max.

There's BT 5.2 now? I was surprised to see that they're not even supporting BT 5.1.

Also no Wi-Fi 6E... I was very disappointed to see that.

C U this time next year 13 mini. 128 GB is more than enough storage space with the cloud.

Edit: If there is no green tint issue.
