Yeah, I'm an Apple fan with multiple devices, but I feel the tag line for this event was a dangerous choice.
According to The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition, awe is defined as:
A Ford Pinto resprayed from orange to blue, with new side mirrors, new hubcaps, a bigger radiator, brighter headlights, and a more efficient carby, don't inspire awe I don't believe, compared to a previous model. Absolutely, you would buy the new model, but only if you were coming from nothing. Using the tag line "Awe Dropping" was a mistake as I felt it meant we would see at least one product which would make us go wide eyed and say WOWWW! That didn't happen, sadly, so I wonder if this anticlimax will further tarnish the brands gloss...
Remember, I'm an apple fan, and love the brand, but I wanted to express my thoughts on what I see as another misstep rather than a correction.
