The 1000 nits SDR require the Nano texture display? or it hits 1000 SDR for both variants (regular and nano)

I cant believe apple unlocked extra brightness which is a software lock and called it a feature, apps like vivid allow 1000nits all the time not just outside and works on m1 MacBooks

The M3 does not have nano texture, and it actually still comes in space gray. Space gray, silver, starlight, and midnight are all options.

Edit: sorry, I forgot the context and thought this was the MacBook Air
no just pro.. .but your right just silver and space blah this year... i cant believe the packaging is even the same with those gray pipes.. lol

another year to skip the MacBook which is good save money, im sick of apple using features that are just software limitations.

No OLED Screen, No 120fps, No Face ID, Still has notch. Power button on bottom, that’s it I’m switching to Chromebook

Hi Troll. We all know the real specs here, your lies are pointless and ridiculous. 120Hz are standard since M1 Macbook Pro. And comparing a Macbook Pro with a Chromebook is like comparing a compact car with a big pickup truck.
Chromebook is more related to MacBook Air, but it is not even close.

Anyone know if the Holiday return policy for Apple goes from order date or delivery date ? It kicks in Nov 3rd this year so was curious if ordered a MacBook Pro if the Nov 8th pickup date would qualify for holiday return period to have more than couple weeks to decide to keep or not.

It goes by delivery date.

I was getting ready to order and saw this as well. Cleared my history in Safari and it came up as M4 Max.
Cleared your history?

You newer Mac users need to learn about hard refresh… Hold down ⌘ Cmd and ⇧ Shift key and then press R.

Can I finally plug multiple monitors into a Thunderbolt 5 dock and connect a single cable into one of these new MacBook Pros? Every previous model required plugging all displays into the thunderbolt ports on the MacBook itself. Every PC with thunderbolt can do this.

The M4 Pro model is able to support up to three 6K displays at 60Hz over Thunderbolt or HDMI, an improvement over the previous M3 Pro model. Apple's M4 Pro chip alternatively supports one display at 6K resolution over 60Hz and a second display at 8K resolution at 60Hz or 4K resolution at 240Hz.

Meanwhile, the M4 Max model supports up to three external displays with 6K resolution at 60Hz over Thunderbolt and one external display with up to 4K resolution at 144Hz over HDMI, or up to two external displays with 6K resolution at 60Hz over Thunderbolt and one external display with up to 8K resolution at 60Hz or one external display with 4K resolution at 240Hz over HDMI.
The wording of this makes my head spin. Can someone please tell me, based off of the current models for sale, if the MBP supports multiple high refresh rate monitors at once?

Apple only ever mentions ONE monitor at 4k 240Hz. Well, what about 2 monitors at 1440p144? If it just comes down to bandwidth, I don't see why that wouldn't work. Could we stretch that to 2 monitors at 4k144?
