I predicted this would be a big yawn, but I dozed off about 15 minutes into it, and will have to read about all the announcements. Oh well... Need more caffeine for their next event!

It’s gonna take some pretty deep pockets to snatch the content makers away from Netflix.
This seems to PC for me. Netflix and Hulu don’t believe in censorship for language and violence which is why they get my money

Suddenly everyone in Jobs theater looks under their seats.
Surely having more and more subscription streaming video services every year is sustainable and won’t lead to a massive collapses that ultimately hurts creators most while the execs who hyped up how they’ll be the ones to kill Netflix fall upwards probably into a job at Netflix.
So without 1 show being released, you have already concluded its content?
BTW some of the most critical and cult favorite movies/tv shows do so without explicit content. Not everything needs to have T&A and expletives to be successful.

Oh they solved that problem.
You can get their amazing, no price mentioned yet, scripted show stravanganza on any smart tv or Roku.
I agree not everything has to be violence but Apple should allow creators do whatever they want even if they made an adult section for it I’m all for but Apple is just doing there way approach.

ATV app is already on your Apple TV. ATV+ is just a subscription service. It is not a separate app or “app within and app”

Which studios do you know of that let’s creators do “whatever they want”??? All of them have an input. This ATV+ service seems to be aiming themselves to be like criterion in terms of quality.
It just doesn't feel like Apple. I just cannot get excited over this.
