With all the big studios slowly consolidating (Disney + Fox), Apple's jumping into an area where there's a growing gap that needs to be filled.Or it might grow and give others the opportunity to create content besides studios.

If you have to ask, you can’t afford it.Imprsssive array of talent but would have been nice to know how much this will cost.
Yep, that's the point I was making earlier. I hate subscriptions. I am hoping but not expecting that maybe Apple offer all the above for a great price especially for families. If not, I honest have no desire to join any and will pass.Just think...guessing here $9.99/m for news, $14.99 for Arcade, $19.99/m for TV, $9.99/ for Music, and lastly, $.99 for a usable iCloud storage.
^That's why I hate subscriptions. Forget about all the other bills in life, just the above without taxes is $54.95/m. Thats a lot to ask from a general population that struggles just to cover rent.
The US exclusively... Again?
I'm so sick of all these companies moving to subscription type services. Right now I'm paying subscriptions for:
Extra ICloud storage
ITunes Match
Apple Music
Google Backup and Sync storage
VPN
Youtube TV
Probably a few other things I can't think of. A few bucks a month for one of these services doesn't sound like much but they all add up monthly.
i’m about to sell the few AAPL stock i own. scamsung next?
That’s an extremely rude and pretentious way to answer. Unnecessary. If you have to ask, you can’t afford it.
Apple's problem is that they are way too late to the game.
Netflix, Hulu, and Prime have all been around for nearly a decade.

Who with a right mind would want that? Apple could only make it worse.Hope Apple saves enough money to buy Netflix in two years.

That's nonsense. Same has been said about Apple Music...
Better late than never.
