What makes them Pro? Truly wireless worth $50 more? H1 chip - too much for me
And if these things make them “Pro,” then why can AirPods have the same thing at $160?

Jeeze look at that price
Should have been USB-C.
No it shouldn’t because the only things I charge that aren’t using a lightning connector is a MacBook Pro and Nintendo switch
As for the iPad mini sticking with the Lightning connector, Apple told Patel that it views USB-C as a "pro" feature — aka iPad Pro.
Will these have "hey Siri" and how many days do you have to return AirPods?
I think it will happen eventually but I’m not sure about soon. It seemed imminent when the 2018 iPad pros came out, but since then, we’ve gotten iPad Air, iPad mini, AirPods 2, and now these all with lightning. I’m thinking the transition is going to be slower than we might have expected last fall.Heck lightning barely still makes sense for Apple devices. Pretty sure its going to binned pretty soon in favor of USB-C.
But only after 2 years of teasing it.“After much effort, we've concluded Powerbeats Pro will not achieve our high standards and we have cancelled the project.”
although really expensive, there are many of us for whom the airpods just do not fit. i know this type of design will fit my ear, so it may be worth the money.
i bought one of those airpod knockoffs (i12, which is BT5) just to see if i could make them fit with the 3m tape hack and they sort of fit but still come loose and the sound quality degrades. despite not being apple-made, they are actually really cool with all the touch controls, and pair very easily and reliably reconnect. if there were a similar powerbeats pro knockoff i'd be all over that, but for now it seems all the over-ear wireless anker/etc. have wires between the two earbuds.

Never liked beats sounding headphones so no thanks airpods are for me, some people will be like wow its black now lol but nah beats never sound good to me

Um the excuse is it’s a new product.Another product another price hike. This time the excuse is they paid too much to an overrated LeBron James.![]()
They're called "heyday" and come in a variety of colors. To me, they sound better paired to my s10+ than my lightning connected wired Beats earbuds that I got to match my yellow Xr. That's not "dissing" Beats, just stating my perception of how they sound compared against each other. The Beats sound muddy. It could just be how they fit in my ears. The heyday ones don't go into the ear canal. They are shaped more like the generic Apple earbuds that come with the iPhones. I would assume the Beats will last me longer and have overall better build quality, given what they cost. But they don't sound the greatest.Again, please show me which $5 Target earbuds that sounds better than Beats. It may not be the best sounding headphones but it does sounds pretty good. Most everyone that kept dissing the Beats probably never even own one and just following all the herds online that said so.
So, if Apple are advertising 9 full hours of use “per charge,” and they have improved sound performance over the AirPods, it might be worth a look relative to the $250 tag, but there are a lot of options other once u get over $250.
Please, please show me a $14 headphone that sounds like Beats. I need to buy a few.
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Samsung-...T112kqFKiOEx0pf1oA31cJVSrZ3CRDAgaAjKEEALw_wcBNothing. The Airpods are priced extremely competitively. Their best competitor, Jabra Elites are $165. Samsung Galaxy Buds are $165. Sony's WF series starts at $178. Bose Soundsports are $199. And the Jabra Sport is $199.
And then when you get to the top end of the market, B&O's are $350. And Sennheiser Momentums are $299. So no, the Airpods are not even close to being a tough sell.
