But I'm sure Apple's is much more stable and sexy.

Edit: Just realized FoxTab is for viewing your open tabs while Top Sites is for bookmarks. In that case:

But Apple's is much sexier.

Well, Safari certainly is snappier. I'm digging the Top Sites feature. I just have to get used to the tabs on the top now though. Probably by tonight.

I keep looking up and thinking 'where did all my tabs go to'? Then my mind just says 'half an inch away'. :)

I can't resist:
Go go gadget Beta.

The page itself loads for me no problem. It does say about being an unsupported browser, but nothing appears to not actually work. I can't log in though due to that not being my bank!

Thanks mate for trying when i try and logon it give me this:
"Safari can’t open the page.
Safari can’t open the page “https://myonlineaccounts2.abbeynational.co.uk/CentralLogonWeb/Logon?action=prepare” because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server “myonlineaccounts2.abbeynational.co.uk”."

Looks like im going back to safari 3

Gmail not Loading

For some reason Gmail keeps hanging. Apparently they are having troubles, but it loads fine for me in Firefox. Anyone else having this problem? It just shows a blank page.

There needs to be a better way to manage top sites, I want to get my gmail on there and its not coming up as a delete sites that are repeated. Is there away to do this and I am missing it?

It seems to work for some and not others. Google mail/docs/calendar and so on work fine for me on the Leopard version of Safari 4.

The toolbar has minimal options in this beta. I would like to have the Stop/Reload button back.

Mine works fine. Not only that, I no longer sees the Bad Gateway 500 error I was having trouble with before

nintendolinky, I just clicked on that link in S4 and it opened just fine.

___________

As for my first impressions, I definitely like it. I see a nice speed increase on my PC but unfortunately have yet to try it on my Mac. It looks very polished.

Seems nice but I need 1password back. Anyone found a solution to reinstall the Safari plugin?

What about... Microsoft compatibility

What about most corporate and lately sites that are using Active-X, .NET, ASPX that keeps telling me I have to use Internet Explorer to work properly? I mean lets not forget that 90% of the planet is still owned by Microsoft.

Does anyone else have google hosted email? I can get to everything but my email. :(

Comparison to nightly WebKit?

Anyone know if Safari 4 is based of the nightly WebKits? I've been running those as my main browser for a little while now, and overall I like it as everything's been snappy and working well.
