Every time...people think the design contains something.

Last year was the same. A colorful design...people thought there would be a redesign.

Very good. :)

But surely:

iOS 7 - Ive been expecting you!

Really looking forward to seeing any of Ive's creativity on iOS 7.

Couple of apps recently that I've liked and would be happy for iOS generally take design cues from - Todoist and the new Yahoo Weather app.

Ah, I've been expecting you :) iRespect that :) lol well said #

Could the logo represent the Apple TV and the WWDC will be announcing the addition of third-party apps for the Apple TV?

I'm going for the logo symbolising cross app support on all devices and further merging of iOS and OSX - The same app on all devices with everything syncing on macbooks, ipads and iphones using iCloud - like it does now for some apps. No doubt this will lead to a simplification of OSX interface.

Doing that they'll probably up the base to 10GB of free storage. That is my hope anyway!

Obviously that could lead to touch on the MBA and MBP's or just larger trackpads.

Can someone shed light on the benefits of going if everything is thrown up online anyway?

How on earth do you deduce that (cross platform support) from the logo? I think the term is: clutching at straws.

Maybe they haven't released anything new because it took a long time to come up with that graphic? :D

The first thing this logo reminds me of is the current Apple TV. Maybe apps are coming to the Apple TV.

Made it in a jiffy. plus its my first time with photoshop :O

I think the roman numerals indicate that Tim Cook has been on a mission in the ancient roman era using the new iTime time machine...He has been helping the Julius Caesar administration deploy iPads...

Ok that was obviously a joke.. I think the logo represents the fact that someone inside apple wanted to get creative and do something fun...That is all.

Apple needs to wake up out of its slumber. iOS 7 needs to be a significant update that provides a more fluid and dynamic user experience.

Comparing my wife's iPhone 5 with my Droid DNA is like comparing two devices from two entirely different generations. It is shocking how rigid, clumsy, and outdated the iPhone has become.

I own iPods, iPads, and use a 15" MBPr. I want to move entirely to an Apple ecosystem but just can't do it until Apple catches up with Android and offers a premium device with a 4.5"+ screen and an operating system that looks like it was designed this decade.

The news that Apple has resorted to offering a DOWNscale, cheaper iPhone tells me that Apple is afraid of going head-to-head with Samsung and instead is going after the cheap, throw-away market to expand their market share. This is a highly unprofitable market and BAD NEWS for Apple stockholders.

One of the main causes of the fall of the Roman Empire was that, lacking a zero in their number system, they had no way to indicate the successful termination of their C programs

I am hoping an MAC OS 11! They should dump the Mach microkernel and switch to BSD kernel completely, and bring springboard to MAC

As stated it means "During the conference we'll be posting all our sessions"; but I'm not sure if that's what they intended to say.

Posting the session videos immediately is just EXCELLENT. Really makes me care less about attending the conference this time. Ofcourse there's the added benefit of interaction and Q&A, but the sessions are what it's all about for me.

I think Apple is posting the videos for all developers because there are so many that will be shut out of WWDC. This is a good thing.

The logo looks to be alive for what it's worth.

Have they had lunchtime speakers outside of Apple before ? I can't remember.

The company also announced that tickets for the event, which will be priced at $1599, will go on sale tomorrow at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.

OMG.
You can buy two basic Mac Minis for that money and you will still have some money left for other things ...
