The concern I have and had it for a few years is that apple is just resting on its laurels. iOS7 is a good change, but we've been hearing about a potential major update to apple tv for years. The same for iWatch. Apple's competitors are rolling out some interesting products but with Apple they've been quiet. To quiet

To me Amazon's STB is like their Kindle tablets. Nice products but nothing revolutionary. And it seems Wall Street agrees as Amazon stock was basically flat yesterday and is down over 2% today.

I get my ticket on eBay ?

according to apple.com's developer site "WWDC tickets may not be sold, resold, bartered, auctioned, or transferred in any way."

I know! The quiet is making me think either 1) Apple is going to be releasing some AWESOME products this year or 2) Apple is beginning to run out of ideas to differentiate themselves. We keep hearing Tim say Apple is "more innovative than ever" but being innovative behind closed doors and being innovate with the products that hit consumers are 2 different things.

Spoiler free

It's a again that time of the year where I have to change my homepage, and stop checking Newsify on my iPhone :) Spoiler free is the way to go!

So the new Macbook Air  will be announced and the new Macbook Pro's but they won't be released till the fall because Intel is fine tuning the new Broadwell chip:D

Maybe other items but we'll just have to wait and see

Apple won't announce their most popular Macs months in advance. It would kill revenue, especially during the back-to-school period. The Mac Pro was a special case.

This lottery is a good system. At least I'll be in with a chance (however slim) to get a WWDC ticket this year. The last couple of years I've missed out because the tickets were gone before I even got the notification that they were on sale :(

Good luck to you then! :) Hope you win one! :)

I think when it comes to product innovation, the wheels are spinning a little now days. Sure, the clever designers who actually created those products are still there, and no doubt still doing some great work. But without Steve's razor-sharp focus to identify the best products and features and to push them relentlessly forward, it's inevitable that "innovation" will slow down a little.

Thanks. Just realised that the last WWDC I went to was the year the iPhone 4 was released. Seems like a very long time ago now!

So if with the ios8 apple will present health app, i think this will be the first official hint for a september release of the iwatch with iphone 6

Unless iphone6 will not include a health sensor

Now where exactly does it say what products Apple will be introducing? I can't find information on this anywhere...

Oh yes, it's a surprise, right? Duh.

You think Steve is the only one that could/can do that at Apple? If so then I guess Apple is truly f'd.

The "Motto" seems wrong

The Motto "Write The Code. Change The World." will backfire ;)
Everyone knows it's "Write The Code. Change The Code."

But I will be excited about new ARM stuff and even cooler GPU features.
Hardwaredesign is overrated. It's all in the software.

Did you feel that way between 2001 and 2007? Was there anything besides the iTunes Store that was groundbreaking in any way? I guess the transition to Intel? Other than that wasn't it basically incremental updates to existing products? I think there's a bit of revisionist history going on. There were plenty of Apple events under Steve that by today's standards would be considered total snoozers.

I doubt they'd talk about "Healthbook" until they announce the iWatch. It's too obvious.

That wouldn't move their stock one way or the other. Amazon sells billions every year and pretty much breaks even and in most cases loses money. So basically Amazon runs it's business like the US Govt. :p
