Damn I was kind of hoping we were going to be seeing some classier graphics with less candy coloured crap. I can only assume poor Ive have been over ruled on getting rid of the bling totally.

Apple is currently looking very like windows was from a graphics point of view and I know they can do better. Little touches of colour are fine but it's getting out of hand with the rainbows.

Is anyone else with me on this or an I the only one who likes subdued hues and greys rather than a whole spectrum of vomit?

The palette still looks much more sophisticated compared to, let's say, a Galaxy phone. Those things shoot lasers at your eyes.

Is it me, or are the squares on the right have gradients on them, and the ones on the left are flat?

It's been a long time since Apple has hosted an event, I believe the last we saw of them was last fall. It's sort of like having a dry spell broken! ;)

"A whole new world" ...of income in a new market - Television obviously !

i wonder how long it is going to take for this rumor to die out. every wwdc to date this mythical rumor has emerged and debunked, much to the dismay of its proponents. will this year be the same.....or.....something else....

Reading over some of these comments is giving me quite a chuckle, with all the different ideas of what the poster could be 'hinting'.

I'm half expecting a 'Half Life 3 confirmed' comment :D

On a serious note, I'm properly excited for WWDC.

You heard it here on MacRumors first, Half Life 3 is confirmed! Source quoted above.:D

Also, a big LOL to all of the Aladdin references being thrown around this thread.

So. Monday after Apple's Keynote. It can go two ways. Me jumping up and down because iOS 7 looks amazing and has awesome features. Or I can be looking to buy an Android phone. Preferably a Nexus 4 c:

If you're considering Android, then please, jump ship.

It wouldn't be so simple as to... dare I say it... not upgrade to the latest iOS software?

They aren't even in the same league. Anything Apple announces will pretty much crush all the hype over the PS3 and Xbox One.

New games consoles come around every 8 years plus, we get new Macs every year, so which do you think will get all the limelight?

Oh, and for those that don't know, the new Xbox One has already been announced and the console shown, the new PS4 has also been announced but the actual PS4 console will first be shown on June 10th, MS and Sony have their E3 conferences on the 10th.

So yeah, Apple will make it into the news but don't be surprised if it's not in the limelight you thought it would be, then again if they launch a new Mac Pro that'll be the same timeline as the new consoles haha.

So many colors. Something tells me this WWDC will be a lot more fun to watch while baked.

Ok, I'll listen.

What do YOU think it means ?

Quite the opposite ....trust me

If iOS 7 is supposed to be more black and white, why are all the banners for WWDC so colorful, filled with the colorful (flat) app squares?

Because those saying it's supposed to be more black and white have nothing to base the claim on and obviously don't know what they talking about.

Looks like those app icons have rounded corners. Other MR article speculated they were going to square corners. I get the feeling nobody really knows.

The app tiles will continue to have rounded corners. There are millions (billions?) of iOS devices out there with home buttons that have the app tiles with rounded corners. They are not going to break that paradigm anytime soon.

Apple ask devs to upload square icons but they apply their own filter on those icons to round them up. So, what happened was that Apple've removed the filter. This is likely because they're going to use a new filter next week, likely with a different corner radius to make it fit with iOS 7 look.
