Come on!

We need more picture updates. Someone who lives near there get us some more pictures so we can see what it looks like!

Small question: I forget, how long after the keynote should we expect the first developer preview of iOS 7?

All the notebooks will be updated. And the Mac mini, and hopefully the Mac Pro.

iOS 7 and 10.9 will be revealed. No iOS devices. No tv. Possibly new services will be revealed ie iRadio

You heard it here first!

Powerbook G5s next Tuesday?!

This could make sense. Or "whole new world" meaning a whole new iOS, built from the ground up like they did with Snow Leopard, with a more open API and the like.

??? Snow Leopard was NOT built from the ground up. It was a refinement on 10.5.....so what, if anything, are you getting at??

5.252 minutes

Wrong, they are killing the entire Mac lineup

Steve Jobs told me so.

Hopefully it doesn't disappoint like IOS6 and being the worlds most advanced mobile operating system. I am excited to see what they unveil.

If you're considering Android, then please, jump ship.

It wouldn't be so simple as to... dare I say it... not upgrade to the latest iOS software?

People state their consideration of a pending platform switch as if we're meant to "hang on every word" of their choice, and then protest if they don't align with our choice; it's almost as if they want you to get annoyed and flame them, so they have an excuse to defend their choice - it's blatant, obvious and tedious narcissism.

If you are so fickle and easily bored as to want to move away from the most incredible mobile platform yet conceived, over mere icons... go and do it, but please - don't tell us - not because we care... but because we're indifferent, and the louder you protest about iOS being "stale" or "outdated", followed by a bold statement of how much "better" Android/WinMo/Symbian (seriously, my friend just did that!) etc, is than iOS, then we know you're just annoyed, and really upset that you're moving from iOS, but can't help but cause a scene to get attention (because everyone wants THEIR choice to be seen as the "best"), but hey - it's your choice, and... good for you! :)

If I saw one of those, I'd buy one; I'm serious.

So. Monday after Apple's Keynote. It can go two ways. Me jumping up and down because iOS 7 looks amazing and has awesome features. Or I can be looking to buy an Android phone. Preferably a Nexus 4 c:

Why do people in here always have to jump down peoples throats when making a valid comment? Just because it doesn't say how great apple is? WhackyNinja isn't the only person who feels iOS really needs to step up. Like many, myself included, I'm sure he likes iOS or he wouldn't be using it right now. Its still the most intuitive OS, with the largest app store it's also very closed and isn't flexible with customization.

If iOS doesn't at least allow setting different default apps, (browser, maps, email), and easier access to quick functions like bluetooth, airplane mode, wifi on/off etc then I don't blame people thinking about jumping ship. Those are pretty standard features at this point.

Direct wifi/ air drop and setting notification tones for different apps would be nice as well.

Oh and integrate the ability to send sms on the messages app on mac in OSX and I'd be an even happier camper :D

Sony's showing the PS4 on the 10th, MS could show the XBox One too, but I'm not completely sure.

PS4 definitely on Monday though.

Haven't they already shown that thing?
Unless am having a deja vo, I would have sworn I read something about Sony anouncing new playstation few months back.

Anyway, nothing would take my attention away from WWDC next week.

They look like guitar picks!

Exactly what I thought when I first saw the WWDC 2013 invitation logo!

they did announce the PS4 but they didn't show the console till E3

I am a bit puzzled!! They announced a product but didnt show it?

It is a reverse Apple. Rather than waiting until the product is ready to go, they instead choose to announce it 6 months ahead of time, didn't show the actual product, barely any details, and gave no price.

This is standard operating procedure for the game industry. It drives me nuts.

excited for what they have installed for OS X.
speed improvements and more system apps built on Cocoa!
a face lift will also be appreciated :D

I hope Apple can live up to the hype. It's been a few years since we were all like "O snap Apple did what now??" Lately everything has been very status quo.

Very true... It's been hard for them to live up to the very high expectations. I myself hope to be somewhat dazzled, but I'm feeling a lot more realistic than many people here and not expecting any "one more thing" announcements!

I really hope that Apple has some magic cards up their sleeves, but I'm not really holding my breath. Even the iOS 7 redesign. If it's anything like those "leaked" screenshots, we are going to see many, many people crushed with disappointment! :(

Not meaning to be a buzz kill, but...did any of the previous banners' styling have any relation with the event itself?

Yeah, it was a strange move. It seemed like they were trying to beat Xbox by announcing theirs sooner, but either their design was not finalised, or they worried they wouldn't have some good stuff to show at E3 and kept the design "secret" to reveal then. In any case, these "pre-announcements" are meh...

Apple Maps...ON THE MOON

Argg! you beat me to it! although I was thinking of Mars ;)

maybe they will finally open the sandbox a little for apps to really interact with each other and devs "crossing over".

would explain the app icons being all piled together on the logo and the banner shown in this article.

didnt tim cook hint at it during one of those interviews recently as well?
