Did Tim Cook respond as did Steve Jobs with Antenna Gate? There are design flaws. While Samsung and others made their larger phone screens by going to a wide stance, Apple chooses to make it longer. Apply a thin body to the length and you have structural issues. If we don't see a wider, 5.5 inch body vs. length next year to cover up the protruded camera and extra strength across the body where the buttons are, I will eat my shoe.![]()
....I just.....I don't.....seriously?
Do you even know what the dimensions of these devices are? Do you know what aspect ratio is? Do you have any idea what you're talking about?
Here, let me answer all these questions for you:
(1) iPhone 6+: 158.1mm x 77.8mm x 7.1 mm
Note 4: 153.5mm x 78.6mm x 8.5mm
(2) Aspect Ratio is the ratio of height/length of the display. Both devices have the same aspect ratio: 16:9
(3) These devices are almost the exact same size. The few mm difference helps with one-handed use on the 6+ (my experience).
There is no making the device wider and shorter as the 16:9 ratio dictates a certain ratio between the height and length of the device itself....
