There is some minor speculation that U2 might be tying in their new single/album with Apple. Nothing solid but just speculation since their new album is expected to be released as early as September. You wouldn't think that stage is for them, would you?

This could be just that. What a home run for both U2 & Apple if this proves to be true.

Those with more knowledge, would you say its good time to buy some more stock right now? I usually think its better after the event as the hype is always higher than reality so after the announcement the stock goes down for a while and its a good opportunity to invest but if they announce iWatch that may not happen. What do you think? Wait and see or risk it now?

What appears to be showing here is the Flint Center building wrapped with white panels, not a new building being constructed. This becomes very apparent by looking at oblique aerials of the building. Presumably the exterior of the Flint Center is being decorated for the event.

Too late for this thread. The discussion about the "new building" is off and running. It now has a life of its own and cannot be stopped.

Anyway, looks like this shrouding was inspired by Christo. I'd look forward to how they will peel off those panels to reveal how they've decorated the building. The reveal could be spectacular if they've decided to go that route.

Apple seems to be doing what fashion brands like Chanel and Dior have been doing, that is, to make entire structures for their company presentation.

Very good! My take is they are using the Flynt Center since you can build a demo house with non-union labor unlike Moscone center in San Francisco. I am sure this demo house will be up for a month or so.
