My physical card is out for delivery and should be here this morning. In other news, anyone else had transactions declined at places normal Apple Pay works? 3 times I have been declined, once for saying chip not compatible, and twice saying card not supported, but used another card on apple pay and it worked fine.
Someone else here said the same thing. They said Apple Card was denied, but other cards in Apple Pay still work

I signed up to get notified. Haven't received an invitation. But, this morning, when I opened the Wallet app and tapped + to add a card...Apple Card was available.

Same. Signed up about 25 minutes ago and got approved. I was thinking I would get an email or something, but nothing so far, just that I have the card now in my wallet app, had the option of ordering a titanium card from my wallet app, so I did that too. Guess I will sit back and wait.

I'm in Austin and opened my account Thursday evening and got a tracking number this morning for my physical card which should be here tomorrow morning FedEx.

Still nothing. Did mine about the same time

$40k and 12.99% here.

All of my comment was tongue in cheek.

Considering the wide denials of credit...I had to harass. Personally, I am surprised that I even got one.

Gotcha. I was pre-coffee. Skipped the 15 pages of comments so wasn’t sure if there was a big credit terms discussion going on.

Glad I saw this article...funny what you miss not reading the news for a few days. Applied with 830 credit score and got $10,000 @ 12.99%. Stumbled at first forgetting to thaw the credit freeze for TransUnion.

I signed up yesterday to be notified, but nothing yet. I keep checking my wallet app and still don’t see anything.

No email invite, but went into the Wallet app this morning to see if it was available, and there was the small icon to apply.

Went through, have a 784 score, approved at 12.99% and $7500 credit limit.

This is typical Apple.

Step 1: "We're going to be releasing _______."
Step 2: Rumors of _______ beta testers around.
Step 3: A wider group of beta testers for ______.
Step 4: "We're going to release _______ soon."
Step 5: Even more beta testers.
Step 6: "Where the f*** is mine?!?"

They've just applied the rule of scarcity to a credit card.
[doublepost=1565627166][/doublepost]That said, still no email. Still no wallet option to sign up.

Just got an email notification for early access and literally got approved on my phone in less than a minute. Really amazing user experience to get an approval and offer so quickly. Looking forward to the physical card arriving in a few days. (Just a fanboy who barely uses credit cards but likes this one!)

What was the process to remove the freeze? During sign-up I got the "You have placed a fraud alert on your credit report. Goldman will call you w/in 24 hours to verify ID."

Did you call TransUnion and then re-start the process in Wallet; or did you wait (and get) that call?

Thanks!

Apparently Apple is expanding who can “test” the Apple Card, or they’re already letting everyone sign up.

I simply checked my Wallet app and the application was there. I was approved. My credit score is in the mid 600’s.

Kind of annoyed about the APR.

I got approved for $20K with an interest rate of 17.99% - - Credit Score is 815

What gives with the crappy interest rate!
That is the million dollar question. There is no rhyme or reason for that.
I get the rate and amount I got...not as stellar as some here...Pay off each month and the rate is 0%.

My credit score is right around there, and I was offered the same terms. Tell me... why were you willing to accept a rate so high?

Honestly, because I will never carry a balance on this card. I do not carry a balance really on any card, and this one in particular I will use more to replace my debit card and pay it off weekly as things settle. So interest rate really means nothing to me on this card. :)

I agree, interest rates do not matter if you pay off your bill each month. I plan to only carry my iphone and this one card. Safer when you go out in public.
