Pretty decent card if you buy Apple stuff or use ApplePay a lot, but Amazon's 5% Prime Visa, and Amex Blue Cash Preferred's 6% back at US supermarkets kind of win, day to day.

Except blue cash's annual fee kinda drops that 6% to 4% or so. The streaming category helps a bit now though but I usually buy itunes gc's. Amex Gold is probably better (4x groceries) although amex is being kind of strict with gift card purchasing these days as well as eliminating the option of buying southwest gc's to meet the airline credit given.

Apple card does not even include a bonus or fraud protection. Not good for consumers when things go south. And the no late fees thing is very stretched on apple.
Wouldn’t it be covered under Mastcards fraud protection? Same as if your local bank debit card was compromised it falls to Visa or MasterCard?

So looking at the video, it seems that you will find out your limit and interest rate before you even accept the card, whereas normally, you get approved and then you get that information. So if its not worth it because of a low limit, you can decline it?

Any idea what credit bureau Goldman Sachs uses? I have a freeze on all my lines of credit and will most likely need to unfreeze one of them before I’m issued a card.
In a previous thread someone said Transunion, but not sure.

The Apple Card had no foreign transaction fees. 2% cash back for Apple Pay transactions while traveling abroad.

I already get 2% cash back from another card for US domestic transactions regardless of whether it's swipe, EMV, Apple Pay or card not present..

No foreign transaction fees is definitely a nice benefit for travelers if you don't have them already. I always use my Capital One debit and credit cards when I'm abroad for this reason.

Perhaps? Maybe? But none of this stuff is mentioned. It's all about the no fees, cash daily, and security. I don't think it's bad for a no annual fee card though. I'm not in any rush to get it though as I simply don't shop at Apple enough (in fact i seldom buy directly from apple because it's almost always msrp) or use apple pay.

What good news was that? As someone who bought things from Apple.com with the Barclays card and will be shifting that spending to AppleCard, I'm curious if I should keep the Barclays?
I'll be keeping the Barclays but it will just sit unused rather than close it out.

Can’t wait! Now I can put my drivers license and :apple: Card on the back of my wallet case and can leave the wallet behind :D
It's about time that states start issuing digital IDs. It would save the state a ton of money and be harder to fake (police and bars could just use a QR code scanner to check authenticity).

Pretty decent card if you buy Apple stuff or use ApplePay a lot, but Amazon's 5% Prime Visa, and Amex Blue Cash Preferred's 6% back at US supermarkets kind of win, day to day.

unless you actually read the terms. Amex Blue - $95 annual fee, 6% only up to 6000, then 1%, 2.7% foreign transaction fee - meh! Amazon - 5% only at amazon, (2% restaurant, gas stations, drugstores), 1% other places - meh!

so all in all, there is no super-duper- 100% cash back and no fee card out there - too bad, that would be great

I am a developer and haven't received anything yet. Not sure if other developers received the invite or not, though depending on where their apps are focused.
Also a developer, also nothing. Doesn't really make sense for them to invite just us for a preview, either. Pretty sure Apple Card should require no developer effort except for ones who may wish to support Apple Pay now.

Isn't that redundant, AFAIK all iPhones running the latest iOS can be used for Apple Pay.
iPhone 5s cannot.
