So, after my invite never worked I tried this morning. Said “Identity could not be verified”. Escalated to Goldman Sachs and they said their system was having trouble with my ID (it’s an Enhanced DL) and there was no manual override. She said to keep trying every half hour as they work quickly to resolve this stuff. I now get a message that “You have applied a number of times so we cannot verify the information you have provided at this time”.

When I reached back out to Goldman Sachs, they said it’s a 30 day deferral after 6 attempts with no other options. Why the first person told me to keep trying....no idea. Frustrating experience overall and no recourse, I guess I’m out.

still not able to apply!!! I have power cycled my phone and signed out of icloud and signed back in. Anyone else having a similar experience?

I am not seeing it either. Maybe the rollout is location based?
I am still not seeing it. when I hit continue the view I get is the camera to hold up a card to add. Did you get an email stating that it was available to you?

This is probably the best thread for data mining. Lol. I honestly don't care if my APR is 70%. Why? Because I never payed off a card in installments. I always pay in full. I buy what I can afford, and save up for what I can't.
WHAT?! What kind of person are you? That kind of sound financial logic has NO PLACE around here :D

Just got mine:
17.99% with a 800+ credit score and over 100k / year income.
My only debt is my house and it is currently worth twice what I owe on it.
How the heck do I get 12.99%? Million / year income?

I pay off my current Amazon credit card every month. I use it for everything to get free books!
I think this card it a bit out of my league.

I think it is because we do pay off our cards each month. They are not able to make as much money off of us as easily since we do not carry a balance forward to get interest charged.

Happened to me and I closed my Apple Card account as the lame credit and high interest rate are so not worth it. For others, who are lucky enough to have decent credit line and interest rate, enjoy the card :)
Anyone who has a really good credit line knows better to not even care about the interest rate, because the know better not to accrue interest charges. The whole point of this card is for financially responsible people is to gain rewards and build/keep credit in good standing.

If you are whining about interest you shouldn’t be applying for it.

Don't exactly need another credit card, but after doing some math on my Bank of America issued rewards card, it made sense. Got the lowest rate of 12.99% with a $15,000 line and the process was super easy and Apple-like. Now let's just hope that Apple Pay acceptance in the US continues to broaden because it is still hit and miss.

I changed the payment method to Apple Card and got 3% daily cash.

It requires watchOS 5.3 and you would need an Apple Watch that is supported.

You made a payment with the Apple card already? If so, I'm switching it over!

I am in the exact same boat as you. I think it is because we do pay off our cards each month. They are not able to make as much money off of us as easily since we do not carry a balance forward to get interest charged.
Nope. That's not the reason. I pay off my cards and NEVER carry a balance. I received a 12.99% APR. Has to be some other reason. Age? Age of credit? Debt to income? Something but not the fact you pay off your cards every month.

You made a payment with the Apple card already? If so, I'm switching it over!
Yes, I got the card a week ago and the phone payment was due today. It was good to see that I received 3% on the IUP loan even though it's technically not an Apple product.

You know what, you’re right.....and neither should your SSN and bank account into....I await your reply , you have an inheritance coming! :p
Divulging income, credit scores, APRs, and credit limits have no security concern. SS#s and bank account info does. Most on here don't even use real names only user names. It's kinda like people blocking their licence plate number on photos in car forums. Like they don't drive around with it exposed all day?? Who cares about this stuff? Everyone is just sharing their experiences so we can compare.

While I can completely understand your love of statistics, I'm a auditor myself and find them interesting as well, you'll have to take these comments with a grain of salt. The average credit score in of an American 695, It gets even more interesting when you factor in age range. Millennials aren't doing so well... So for all these people to be at 800 or above is highly unlikely.

I'm guessing it has more to do with the fact that those with lower scores are less likely to mention their score publicly.

There are also a lot of credit-haters on this forum that will indirectly chastise their credit card use.

Try rebooting phone then trying again? I did that and I saw it after the reboot.
no dice. I also tried the link above, and took me to the wallet app with the apple card when I clicked continue, I got a notification that Apple card is not supported in my region, but I am in the US.

I wonder, does anyone else have a credit lock/fraud alert that was ignored. I always get a soft decline, then they call to do extra verification. They didn’t do that with me for the Apple Card. Super fast approval, but, could open people up to fraud.
They didn't ignore mine. I applied last Thursday and I didn't get a phone call until the next day. Once I got the phone call I was approved within minutes.

Got 21.99% with 19,000. Ratio doesn't really add up, probably because I'm still studying in Uni and have few $k in student loans, also started credit only 3 years ago (when I legally was able to).
My AMEX cards have higher limit, as well as lower APR

Gotta be careful with this card now, it's nice though because I use apple pay at school to buy food, so will have use out of it.

Just wanted to add another thing is DONT PILE UP MONEY AND PAY THAT interest if you have anything over 15% like I got, focus on paying it off literally every week. I'm majoring in finance and this was already not a good idea for me now that I look at it because I will most likely be thinking about this interest.

Approved last week, physical card arriving tomorrow. Good timing as my trusty old Chase card was recently compromised.
