Have you gone back into your settings and checked it out? It disappears after I click it but reappears after going out of the settings and back in.

Yes, I have experienced the same issue. Clicked the Make Default at Apple button (after which the button is no longer visible in the Wallet app), received an automated response from Apple with the subject line Your Apple ID information has been updated, but if I go back into the Wallet app, the Make Default at Apple button has returned. You can even click it again and get the same automated response from Apple. So I would assume this is just a temporary bug.

FWIW, I was finally able to apply for the Apple Card just by going into the Wallet app and hitting the big Plus (+) button at the top right, where I was finally able to select the Apple Card, which I had done repeatedly starting yesterday. My advice is just to be patient, because it's not going to work until Apple finally enables your unique Apple ID in whatever random order they're using.

Also, that was at 3:43 PM Eastern Time (I'm on Long Island). Around 5:32 PM Eastern Time, I finally got the email invite from Apple to apply for the Apple Card :) So the invites are still being sent out, but you don't necessarily have to wait for the email before trying to apply. YMMV.

I was approved for the card this morning from clicking that link floating around. Just received my invitation email from Apple - Check your inboxes! Maybe it'll work now for others if they opened up a new batch of invites...

02 | What are the policies / requirements governing back seat flights in the number 7 jet?

The Blue Angels typically provide two backseat flights at each show site for selected personnel. Both riders fly with the Number 7 pilot in the two-seat jet. One of those riders are selected from the Key Influencer (KI) program and the other is a credentialed media representative. The KI program selects individuals who shape attitudes and opinions of youth in their communities. KIs may be experts in their field, public figures, leaders of youth organizations, teachers, guidance counselors or school administrators. They are not always the person at the top of an organization, but rather individuals that have an impact on recruiting youth and/or a specific target audience. Flying these candidates, in coordination with media presence, is intended to promote the Navy and Marine Corps as professional and exciting organizations in which to serve. To be selected as a Key Influencer, you must first be nominated by a commanding officer of a Navy or a Marine Corps recruiting district. For more information, contact your local recruiter or air show.

03 | Can I play "Danger Zone" or any other Kenny Loggins music on the back seat flight?

Only if you want a live test of your ejection seat.

04 | Can I say "Splash the Zeros!"

You can leave, that's what you can do.

Still no luck with the link or the '+' button. Things are quiet. Maybe the rollout is morning and that's it.

Invites are still going out for the day. Just received an invite, but to the wrong email sadly.

Second confirmation on invites continue to go out. I received my invite. I can confirm it is a hard pull to your credit report. I received a notification from my credit monitoring that Goldman Sachs did a hard pull 2 hours after I applied for my card.

I mean, any major credit card is a hard pull.

So, still no joy here. It is becoming painfully clear to me that MY perceived value, as an Apple Stockholder, long-time customer, owner of multiple devices of all shapes and sizes, paid developer account, and overall unabashed enthusiast/fan boy, has NOTHING whatsoever to do with getting me onto whatever list is being used to generate the "invites", or activate my + sign. Enthusiasm is rapidly being replaced by discontent and apathy over a card that I do not actually need, but was excited to try.

YOu can't possibly be taking this that personally, really? There are approximately 3 trillion people trying to get this card at the same time. Apple and GS don't have that kind of back end hardware.

That's really interesting, from a credit point of view, and it's similar to what another post reported. "Hey, approve these people. And, oh yeah, when you have some time, run a credit check on them, just so we can say we did it." ;)

Apple can take this card and shove it up their you know what.

I’m not signing up for it at this point as a matter of principal.

I had signed up with my email to be notified back in March when Apple Card was announced but I just signed up to be notified again, we'll see what happens.

You sound very annoyed. Why?

I can think of at least three good reasons to shove this card somewhere else, though:

- uncompetitive cash back
- no warranty extensions
- no data export

What are your reasons?

Confirmed: Apple hates me.

You're one of three zillion people who want this card, and on Day Two you are forced to believe that Apple hates you, specifically, individually and personally?

I was being sarcastic. I thought my post was stupid enough to not have to put /s at the end, but deciphering the tone of text is hard, especially when there are people who actually genuinely post things like that. Sorry for the confusion, was just trying to poke fun.

Apologies, it's hard to tell with just text!
