I have a question for the financial elite in here about the application, since I haven't received the invite yet...
Last year on 8/13 I purchased a used car. I applied for a loan myself before going in, and had the dealership make offers on loans as well. This led to six inquiries, two from each reporting agency.
As these inquiries are set to fall off my credit score next week, is it worth waiting six days to apply if I get the invite to the card?
I would like to maximize my credit limit and minimize my APR, even though I won't ever touch both.
I got denied as well for the "you have recently been past due" reason. The review shows my credit score as much higher than what Credit Karma is telling me; almost 100 points higher. Also, according to Credit Karma, I have 100% payment history - I can't remember being past due - maybe a few years ago when I got into credit trouble but I've been working really hard to pay everything off. I also closed a lot of accounts when I paid them off a la Dave Ramsey's rules. The only card I have now is a Discover which I've been totally responsible with and pay off the total balance every month.

I did yesterday morning around this time.Anyone from Texas
For those that were able to add it via “+”, did it ever show you a screen where it was showing cards previously added? Didn’t know if that was affecting anything. Have tried link from forum in iMessage etc and still getting the “Unavailable” message.
I never got an email, but woke up this morning to a push alert saying it was available.
Yeah – when I tried it this morning, I hit the +, hit continue and then it just shows a bunch of cards that I added in the past that are no longer on the phone, then hit “add a different card,” and it just shows the camera screen.I have an iPhone XR and an iPhone 7 Plus. The 7 Plus had what you described as late as 11PM last night. As of around 3AM last night, I had the option to apply for the Apple Card on both phones.

No. I got mine this morning and I am the organizer of a family account. I didn't receive a notification, I just used the + button and hit continue and saw Apple Card as an option.I have the same. I'm also the organizer of a family account. I know the card is unique per Apple ID but are they excluding family accounts for now?
I have the same as well. And I'm also the family organizer and haven't been able to see the Apple Card in wallet yet either.I have the same. I'm also the organizer of a family account. I know the card is unique per Apple ID but are they excluding family accounts for now?

Yeah, I'm sure it's just a matter of them continuing to randomly roll it out. I know my iCloud ID is still under the old me.com address, so hopefully that doesn't have anything to do with it. I did sign up that address as well just in case. The potentially good news is that once you're able to apply, you should have the Apple Card option if my experience is any indication. Then again, my experience probably isn't the norm with having two phones.
I plan on using mine solely as a forever card to keep a credit line in my portfolio. Chase cards aren’t much better with rewards, but with no annual fee, it only will help to keep another card open.
So you’re no longer angry and will apply?
