I got the physical card in the mail today. I’m surprised by the metal. All of my other metal cards are steel and this is titanium. I really like the feel of it. I guess I was expecting the same feel, but I’m very impressed. It’s definitely a different feel than anything on the market. I have previously had the CSR and currently have the Amex Plat as a reference.

Do you guys think Apple will eventually roll out an intro offer for this card? I mean that would be pretty nice if they could throw in some nice offers?

Wonder maybe I should wait to apply until Christmas time

Went to the UPS CC to pick up my physical card. Pretty slick. Activation went pretty great without any issues. Oddly enough, as soon as I picked up my package I got an email from Apple telling me that my Titanium Apple Card has arrived, even without unpacking it.

I don’t think they will, and neither will Goldman Sachs.

Probably about as often, and in the same way, as they do for everything else. So, maybe once a year, you can get a $25 iTunes gift card or something like that... :( :D

The “unavailable” message has changed (now mentioning the Apple Card Preview), hasn’t it?

Got my physical card this morning, and had to use it right away. I picked up a nail in my tire and had to get it repaired. The tire shop does not take Apple Pay, but the Apple card worked flawlessly.

I later found out that I could not use it to pay my car insurance (Progressive Insurance). I tried both the digital and physical cards and neither was accepted. My old Master Card came to the rescue.

Did you try to pay thru app or website?

Yes, I believe so.

Ok, this is getting interesting.

Earlier, when using the link provided on other forums (https://wallet.apple.com/apple-card/setup/feature/ccs?), I got an error message to the effect of “the Apple Pay service is currently unavailable”.

Now, I get the following much more explicit message about the ‘Apple Card Preview’:

“Apple Card is currently available only to customers participating in the Apple Card Preview. Please try again later.”

Hmm...

I haven't used the physical card yet. Has anyone noticed any issues with cosmetic damage from daily use? What about Ridge style minimalist wallet. Will wallet like that scratch this card?

I'm sure it's been brought up before, but it's probably a good idea to opt out of the arbitration clause via chat. Literally took me one minute.

Who would say no to this? I accepted 1st and then read your post afterwards, so I'll be sure to do this within the required timeframe. I just want to make sure my Ti card arrives before I kick the ant hill. My two Chase cards are each almost double the Apple limit, but only one of them that I've had for 16 years matches Apple's rate, while the other one is 5% higher.

I am also wondering what that card will look like after being chipped and swiped for a while.

Depending on the finish, you could either polish it back up with a cape cod cloth, or re-apply a brushed finish with a green scotch brite pad (old tricks for watch owners).
