well i would think that would help, but i think it updated for my as well on a weekend. could it be an issue with the soft release for some? cuz i made a payment yesterday for 20 bux and it reflected the new udpated on my balance as soon as payment went through. so maybe it varies? maybe it has something to do with the soft release, i dunno.
I guess it depends? Because I made a big payment on Sunday and my available credit has not changed. I did see this morning that the funds from my bank has been withdrawn. As of now it still hasn’t changed still the same as yesterday. My credit balance did update though.

Still waiting on that mythical "48 Hours" for the  Card offer to appear in my Wallet....

This whole Apple Card thing must be made up.

I'm actually quite disappointed in this roll-out. I signed up early. I signed up with multiple emails on my Apple account (Apple ID email included). I signed up again after I received the email telling me my Apple ID email was wrong (but it was... whatever). I waited way longer than 48 hours and still nothing. The wallet app is still not reflecting an Apple Card option. The link doesn't work and just gives the "Apple Card Preview" error message. I have a ticket open with Apple, but they haven't replied. Overall, this "Preview" is OBVIOUSLY a SOFT rollout to workout the bugs. I get it. I'm still disappointed.

I think I'm going to go charge something super expensive on my AMEX Platinum just to "buy away" my sadness and frustration with Apple.

Now Chase sent me an email wanting me to sign up for their Sapphire Card.

Nah...got plenty off CCs.

Ha! Chase suddenly increased my credit line on my Sapphire CC! I didn’t even request it.

Seems as if they don’t know this Apple Card doesn’t really exist. Not for me, anyways. :(

Whelp, time to finally close this window after a few weeks.

I randomly decided to try the link again as it failed this morning and I got through. $9,000 credit limit with 17.99% APR but as I have no plans to actually spend anywhere close to that much or have that much budgeted it doesnt matter.

I was on the phone with an AppleCare rep, who transferred to a senior advisor in the Apple Pay group, who transferred to Goldman Sachs who said they will escalate. Apple Pay group rep said he will also escalate within apple and transferred me to Goldman Sachs incase they had any ideas.

Original sign up on the announcement day, signed up again when the new Apple Card went up, got the last Tuesday email and the phone call on Saturday.

Ah so you did get an email inviting you to preview the card or is that just the email from your Support request?

I also received the "wrong email" notification email last Tuesday (two emails: one to each acct), and immediately clicked on the provided link/updated my email (even though one was already my @icloud.com email). I also tried my @mac.com email just in case that was the issue.

Still no luck. I finally got around to contacting Apple Card support. They created a case/escalated it. She told me that it's currently taking 4 days for the escalations to get handled. She suggested I keep trying "+" in the wallet app until then :)

BTW: I started my case using the website chat feature for Applecare. They said that there's a special Apple Card support team (understandable), so they arranged for a call-back to me. When they called back, it seemed to be a generic Applecare person again, so they had to transfer me to Apple Card support. Once that person got my initial info, then he transferred me to another Apple Card specialist who did the actual escalation to "someone" that will get back to me in 4 days or so.

it could be more of a bank issue. some banks process certain payments faster than others do. i use Bank of America.

Anyone that was approved, do you have a support number directly to Goldman Sachs? Apple support is not really of any use in trying to work out GS denial for “too many recent applications.”

In the Wallet app, do you also see the 'make default at Apple' pop up after a second or so even though it's already the default card? There is also a UI glitch on my XS Max.

looks like everything is handled through Apple. The support and call numbers are all Apple.

That's not even an option on my card. It skips from "Bank Accounts" to "Express Transit"........I did make the Apple card the default for iTunes using the card numbers 5 days ago and so far, not one single thing that I've purchased since then has posted. Contacted Apple about it and all they had to say was "sometimes it takes longer to post". Disappointed

It sounds as if Apple should release 12.4.1 that fixes this and other issues before making Apple Card available more widely.

Same here. I don’t have the option to make it the default card. Weird.

Likewise. I have to go through the wallet app in settings to see the "Make default card" option.

settings--wallet & apple pay--default card.

I applied for and was approved for the Apple Card on August 7. The same day, I requested a physical Apple Card be mailed to me. It's now August 20, and the app still says "Your Card Has Been Ordered. You will be notified when your card has shipped." Anyone else having this problem?

I know the card is for one person. And one Apple ID.

But can you use the Apple Card on multiple iPhones? I have my 8+ using the Apple Card and it would be nice if my backup iPhone be able to use it as well. Both are owned by me and both are using the same Apple ID.

Ok, everyone, I can now shut TFU. I know some of you will be thankful. I finally got my opportunity to apply for the Apple Card this morning. I applied and was approved.

BIG NOTE: Yesterday, I was reading other forums about “me.com and Mac.com” email addresses having some kind of internal issues at Apple. No idea what issues. So, I changed my Apple ID email address from my “@me.com” to the “@icloud.com” account yesterday and boom, the Apple Card is available this morning. I also read that many people with “me.com” and “mac.com” email addresses were still receiving invites, so I don’t know if this is a fix or anything. I used the “+”, not the link. Not sure if this will work for everyone, but it’s worth a shot, I guess. Heck, I might have changed my Apple ID email address unnecessarily. No idea, but now the wait begins for my “real” Apple Card.

I mentioned the @icloud.com vs @mac.com confusion to Apple Card support yesterday. They said it could be the issue. They told me that my @mac.com account is the primary account, and the @me.com and @icloud.com addresses are aliases. They told me that even though they agreed @icloud.com should work, I should always use @mac.com when signing up for services like Apple Card, their upcoming games and TV service, etc.

I signed up to be notified with my @icloud.com email, but my iPhone is signed in with my @mac.com email. I suppose I could logout and login with @icloud.com now (and maybe find that Apple Card works), but will wait for Apple Card support to get back to me first.

EDIT: I just hit “+” and got the Apple Card offer (finally)! So, maybe it’s working for everyone now (or rolling out again)? Either that, or my “escalation” call yesterday worked.
