This might of been covered but I take payments on Apple Pay a lot and was curious if the money on the Apple Cash card can be used to make payments on the Apple credit card. Wouldn’t make sense to not be able to do this but you never know. I don’t have a cash balance right now to try it otherwise I would.
Yes you can

Yes you can and I have done this on many occasions.

What I also noticed is that if you make payment with Apple Cash, your available funds are readily updated. But if you pay with your bank account it may take several days to reflect the availability. Even though your current balance do reflect the payment right away.

Thanks. I want to transfer money from my bank to the Apple Cash card every time I use the credit card. Then when it is due all the money will be in the cash card and I can just pay it instantly.

If you have UPS my choice it should automatically show up there. If you have fedex account if you go over the tracking then manage your delivery then it should detect if you have any incoming package. You definitely get yours before your vacay. I got approved last Monday and got my card on Thursday.
Just got notification my card shipped. Due to arrive August 21.

Just in time.

:D

Interesting. As soon as I made a payment using my bank, the available balance was instantly updated.

I made a payment Saturday and some more on Sunday. While your current balance do get updated right away, but I noticed that the Available Credit doesn’t update away and right below the APR has a fine print stating “Your available credit may take several days to reflect payments you’ve made”. So I take it that whenever you make payments on your Apple Card, the current balance does update immediately but can take several days for the Available credit to adjust itself.

Mine available credit instantly updated is what I am saying. My limit is 15K, and it immediately went back up to 15K after payment.

I called AppleCare and they took my iPhone model number, Serial number, IMEI and SEID. I am supposed to get a call on Tuesday morning. In the meantime I just wait. Impatiently. Is it Tuesday yet? What about now? Are we there yet…

so apparently something may have happened with my physical apple card. i did get a notification in my UPS app last week that i was getting a shipment from AI, which is apple, and it weighed .20 pounds. so i decided to alter it's course to a UPS access point. it had a delivery date of today. fastfoward a few days, to yesterday and i get a notification from within the apple card app that my card shipped, but the tracking number is very different from the tracking number i got last week. but this second tracking number as a shipment pickup of Ontario California, so i dunno what happened, but it apparently just shipped. so that was strange. it's being shipped 2nd day, so i guess it should arrive sometime tomorrow?

I suppose then we should pay on a weekday instead of a weekend.

well i would think that would help, but i think it updated for my as well on a weekend. could it be an issue with the soft release for some? cuz i made a payment yesterday for 20 bux and it reflected the new udpated on my balance as soon as payment went through. so maybe it varies? maybe it has something to do with the soft release, i dunno.

Has anyone who signed up for the Apple Card Preview day of the announcement who still has not received an invite and reached out to Apple Support had any luck with getting added to the preview via Support?

I received my invite 8/13, setup went very well and ordered the physical card. Since then the card started out in Compton,Ca then went to Ontario,Ca now is in Louisville,Ky, delivery tomorrow. So 8 days for 2nd day air, and as I mentioned in earlier posts I live 2 hours north of Compton.
Don’t need the physical card but thought it kinda interesting how mine in particular was routed, since others who got the invite later already got there’s.

Still waiting on that mythical "48 Hours" for the  Card offer to appear in my Wallet....

I’m at about 91 hours after being told 48. I’ve left 2 voice mails with Apple Support on the case number they opened for me late Thursday afternoon asking for an update. So far, the dreaded “Cone of Silence”.

No luck

I did sign up again using Safari on my Mac, safari on another Mac, and Firefox on another Mac, and safari on my iPhone via LTE incase my pi-hole was somehow affecting it or incase safari wasn't passing the request through right.

It was supposedly escalated to a senior apple and Goldman Sachs rep but I haven't heard back on that.

Pretty close to the same.
I invited my fiancé just to see maybe Wednesday or Thursday and they got an invite maybe a day later on Friday.
Did you actually talk with Goldman Sachs or did the Senior Apple Agent say they were speaking with them?
Also was this all via phone or via imessage or chat?

Super curious and sad that I wasn't invited to the preview and at this point if newly signed up people are getting invites so quickly. I have a feeling something might be wrong with my AppleID or something.

I was on the phone with an AppleCare rep, who transferred to a senior advisor in the Apple Pay group, who transferred to Goldman Sachs who said they will escalate. Apple Pay group rep said he will also escalate within apple and transferred me to Goldman Sachs incase they had any ideas.

Original sign up on the announcement day, signed up again when the new Apple Card went up, got the last Tuesday email and the phone call on Saturday.
