Are you in the LGBQT+ community?Yep, I wear my pride band every day and it starts conversations with people I meet who are in the LGBTQ+ community all the time. I’ve had nothing but positive conversations about it. I am conscious of the fact that the things I do may be seen as offensive and/or appropriation but I’m willing to change my behavior if I learn that’s the case. It’s something about loving my neighbor and all that.
Y'all right wingers want to be queer and/or black so bad! It's very obvious!White people get nothing special. Or straight people.
Neat. "all lives matter'
Seriously? You never heard of the term white privilege? White people (including me) are in the majority, we set the rules, we have set rules which provide us with better opportunities in housing, education, health care, jobs - you know - life. We have police forces which pull over minorities at an alarming rate, simply because they look different, we prosecute them unfairly where a white guy can get off for "affluenza", and a minority is incarcerated for long periods for the same offense, we allow police brutality, even murder, where we don't bother to hold the perp to any standard or accountability at all.White people get nothing special. Or straight people.

For the record, there is no data to support these claims.White people (including me) are in the majority, we set the rules, we have set rules which provide us with better opportunities in housing, education, health care, jobs - you know - life. Very true, but symbolism can help remind us of not who we are, but who we should be. I don't need to wave a flag to know I am American, but I do think I should treat all people with equality, respect, dignity, and that our country ought to tooI would rather show unity for my fellow human beings with my actions, versus an Apple band. I am old school.
only if you close your eyes - there is plenty of dataFor the record, there is no data to support these claims.
the data is in the disproportionate murder and brutality rates that black, brown and queer folks face 🙃For the record, there is no data to support these claims.
Like a lot of people during this pandemic I've been Tinder-swiping; and I've also traveled the world by setting different locations.White people get nothing special. Or straight people.

True, predominately Muslim and Communist countries its still illegal and death is a penalty.Like a lot of people during this pandemic I've been Tinder-swiping; and I've also traveled the world by setting different locations.
Nothing special; besides some of the profiles taking me into the negatives as far as my faith in humanity.
Then Tinder launched that whole "lots of genders"-things, and I couldn't help but play around with it… and the first thing that happened was that I got a warning about how basically I could get jailed/killed based on whatever settings I'd chosen.
So, yeah, I actually get a lot as a cishet person; like not getting hate/killed simply because I exists.
Like, I was aware about that before; but it's still a stark reminder that settings that to me was basically a joke/boredom is not just reality to other people, but it could also get them killed.
In America you get watch bands, and are statistically a ******** more likely to get shot by a cop panicking because they're afraid of black people.True, predominately Muslim and Communist countries its still illegal and death is a penalty.
America you get watch bands. GO USA
Do you live in the USA?In America you get watch bands, and are statistically a ******** more likely to get shot by a cop panicking because they're afraid of black people.
As a black person survival rate in America drops even more if autistic, have a mental breakdown, are trans, or find yourself simply existing in the "wrong" neighbourhood.
Yet "black lives matters" triggers the white people, that much rather would talk about what's wrong in some muslim country.
Weird how you forgot to bring up your living situation/location the first thing you did when you broadly talked about muslim countries. Weird that.Do you live in the USA?
Sorry, as someone who lives in the USA....Weird how you forgot to bring up your living situation/location the first thing you did when you broadly talked about muslim countries. Weird that.
I hadn't thought about that, thanks for pointing it out.Do you feel the same way with pride bands? Product Red?
Mmmmhmmm. And what is untenable as a non-black person
For the record, there is no data to support these claims.
Just because you believe otherwise doesn't make someone racist for looking at the data.Hey. There's so much data to support those claims that blanket denying it is inescapably racist. Don't do that.
I think the point they are making is that you are not actually looking at the data, or at least omitting the pertinent data.Just because you believe otherwise doesn't make someone racist for looking at the data.
