Actually yes, while MR members posting negative things usually don't have any facts at all.Umm ... no.
I have no idea what the exposure from the air pods is, but I don't ever put the phone next to my head. It's inevitable we are going to be exposed to some radiation that's why i said "reduce exposure". I have a problem with these things potentially emitting microwaves/radiation or whatever directly into my brain
Well it was a tongue in cheek comment, the story directly below this was how air pods were having battery issues. I don't own air pods. I do own several other products, so my negative comments are more disappointments than unfair blasting. Why should he? The negative comments generally come from those that do not own the product.
Putting a radio right next to your brain box is not wise.
I guess its their call..Is anyone else sick of hearing trivial announcements from Apple whilst they neglect the Mac?
Um cause it don't look stylishWhy's that?

I answered my own question? What are you on about?I guess its their call..
meanwhile, I'll keep buying the old macs until I can't!

Really?
guess you answered your own question!

So if you are on the phone to your right ear so you always make sure he tower it's connected to is on your right? And when at home only use the ear closest to the router?
The signals for most wireless devices aren't directional. They emit in all directions. A cell tower doesn't send communications like a cable through space - the signal going to your phone is also going to your dog house and the heavily forested area five miles down the road. Doesn't matter if your phone is connected to it for voice or just pinging it sporadically or totally off. It's inevitable we are going to be exposed to some radiation that's why i said "reduce exposure". I used the corded headphones and when possible plug the phone into a speaker.

Yep. He's busy with reality, not the online fantasy land echo chamber fraudulent nonsense.LOL ol'd Timmy apparently doesn't read MacRumors.
Has he ever said or implied anything other than "every product is amazing and the best ever and the most successful"?
He's just complete PR & hyperbole quite frankly.
Totally useless information.
I instantly thought Cook meant underwhelming when he said "great".Apple using the word "Great" is like Valley Girls saying "Awesome". It lost its meaning years ago

These things are dangerous, the signal from airpod to airpod - travels directly through the brain. No thanks
Cook wants to literally "cook" your brains.
MR readers are not representative of the Apple users demographic by a long shot.
Well in all fairness, what's he gonna say, "it's been a GD nightmare... we're disguising low sales as high demand with evidence of stock-outs because these things are too GD hard to make and we can't keep them on the shelves?"
PR speak is one thing, but we'll see just how well the quarter went at the next call. If he keeps AirPod sales buried in the "accessories" category along with the Apple Watch and Beats headphones without specifically calling out numbers, we'll know exactly how well they did.
Cook called the AirPods a "runaway success."
No! It's not!
Long-term user experience will show; for now, a dumb concept.
Easy to lose, painful to jab anything into a ear canal that will stay, and, expensive to replace.
So you're saying that Cook shouldn't miss the opportunity to be disingenuously positive about their latest product? Maybe I'm just not quite that cynical yet. I expect him to be truthful if AirPod numbers are great and to mention some other good thing if they're not.Really ... the chief company cheerleader not taking advantage of the situation to pump the latest product ... give your head a shake.
