Oh please don't fool yourself. Of course they do and plenty at that.Apple doesn't do market research...
According to Cook, Apple learns from its mistakes...
Tim not knowing shows that he needs to be shown the doorTim not knowing that plus is a big hit shows he's out of touch.
I used to remember back then getting excited because it's for the better. Apple's decision now is more on to make money. Sell more Beats wireless headphone. The audio part is not an upgrade it's a mediocre at its best. They would have waited or push for a better Bluetooth first. USB-C is not consistent to all Apple products, obviously they'll keeping Lightning cable as I mentioned to make more money. Getting rid of Magsafe is stupid!Port removal, as much as I am in support of pushing future tech, is a ballache to consumers during the transitional period, especially Apple users since we are usually the ones thrust into it first. I know all about it because I went through the whole serial/parallel/SCSI to USB thing and boy did it hurt.
Thing is now we are being pushed through two at the same time. USB to USB-C and jack to Bluetooth.
It's a struggle but the payoff is worth it, trust me. But wow, I really didn't predict so many people to make this transition so soon and so willingly.
It's a good sigh though, more consumer support means a quicker transition. Let's just get it over and done with now, the sooner the better.
It took me a month to get hold of an iPhone 7 Plus 32GB Matte Black back in December.
But this time around, I'll make sure to pre order earlier than x-mas time.
But yeah the reason I got the 7 Plus was due to better specs ( 1080p and 3GB of RAM )
Apple did not expect so many people to choose the iPhone 7 Plus over the iPhone 7, according to statements made by Apple CEO Tim Cook during today's second quarter earnings call.
"One of the things we didn't get right was the mix between the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus," said Cook. "Demand was much stronger towards the iPhone 7 Plus than we expected."
You mean Apple forces people to buy the products that Apple choses to produce? Oh my God!Apple clearly doesn't learn from their mistakes as they continue to shove a failing category (iPads) down everybody's throat at the expense of professionals who rely on actual computers (the old Mac & MackBook Pros) and not toys to get real work done.
iPads are down quarter after quarter after quarter etc. Mac Pros & MacBook Pros and pro software are completely ignored by Tim Cook and Apple, yet Timmy still insists upon foisting iPads on everyone. You mean Apple forces people to buy the products that Apple choses to produce? Oh my God!
Second Quarter net sales in 2017: $52.90 Billion versus $50.56 Billion in 2016. There are obviously a lot of people who like the products in those "failing categories."
You'd think they'd have a market research budget second to none in order to address these sort of things.
Then Tim Cook should learn to produce a red iPhone with a black front!![]()
People will want it if the iPhone fits their lifestyle. There are a lot of iPhone users who do not want a 5.5 inch display and Apple chooses to put all the technology into that specific iPhone model. Some prefer the 4.7 inch iPhone model strictly for the comfortability factor.
I think there are some users who will never want an iPhone that large, no matter what technology is packed into a 5.5 inch display. Some prefer the portability and convenience of a smaller iPhone with out all the other features.
That said, I really enjoy the 7+, but I can see why it's not for everybody.
Couldn't have said it better.I wonder how the mix would be if they had put the same features (sans screen size) into all the iPhones. Is it the big screen that is the lure or the features not available elsewhere?
