Tim thought of entering EV business when Tesla was the only one making them but now there are over 10 makers.

Apple failed to build their own car and instead will sell you a virtual experience driving another car. Bravo.

And before you virtual car tuners get any ideas, understand that Apple will block any aftermarket modifications. Only OEM upgrades will work. It’s a car manufacturer’s dream come true.

Ahh the two companies that have financially ruined me, together at last <33

Porsche is doing some interesting marketing collabs lately, Overwatch is coming out with a Porsche skin for DVa. This is a weird future we’re living in

He should be rewarded with a big bonus for going above and beyond the regular call of his job duties.

I hope they enter the mobility sphere in some capacity, even if it’s not a car. It would be so cool to have a super high quality, futuristic looking Apple electric scooter/motorcycle or something

Don´t need to. Most of us apple users will be using it in a few years.
Quick math...

Apple said there are 2 billion Apple devices (iPhones, iPads, Macs) actively being used by customers. Some people have multiple Apple devices. Let's say the average number of Apple devices per person is 3. That means there would be approximately 666,666,666 individual Apple users worldwide.

When you say "most" Apple users will be using the Vision Pro in a few years, that means more than half of the 666,666,666 individual Apple users worldwide will be using one.

You think in a few years (how many years is considered a few, 4?) there will be over 333,333,333 people using the Vision Pro? Apple would have to produce and sell over 83,333,333 Vision Pro's per year over the next 4 years for your prediction to be true.

That's more than the number of Macs or iPads Apple sells per year.

I don't see that happening.

looks more and more like Apple is intentionally pricing itself out of the middle class. Is there really more money to be made with rich people alone?
Apple's bread and butter (iPhone) is right in the sweet spot of the middle class. They are also an aspirational tech/lifestyle company which attracts both economically lower and middle class customers even though those people might not be able to afford expensive tech. In other words, a poor person can buy AirPods and still feel like they're in the same club as the rich guy who buys an Apple Vision Pro on a whim.

I'm sorry, but even if they somehow convince me to buy an EV, I'm not gonna buy one with the word "turbo" in its name. How about we come up with new naming conventions? Call it OC, for overclocked, or something. There is no turbocharging an electric motor.

Yep, "Turbo" has never been used in an electric/electronic setting before...

Nope..

Completely unheard of.

Unthinkable..
