It's a proven fact that the President both has a problem with females and minorites(and those with disabilities and those who are Muslim and those who are....) and has a track record of attacking judges who put him in check.
If the facts insult you I suggest applying for a job at the White House.
Love how the word racist gets thrown out there in a so often accusatory manner . the accusers do it solely to close down any further discussion.
Don't start with a stupid statement. What a bright idea. Why not ignore the actual problems and issues by turning it into some sort of conversation over labels and generalizations. There are real economic problems for many Americans.
This has to be my last post for now, so I'll try to avoid being argumentative.

Two judges have rules that the detention and deportation of arrivees who were already in transit, is likely unconstitutional. The ban isn't unconstitutional. It's the detention of those in transit.

I don't recall how my paragraphs broke down, but for the record, I think the ban is absurd, and it's clumsy and aggressive enforcement is nothing but a show of strength. Trump has acted for appearances rather than effect, and has done so with blatant disregard for the constitution, and for the anguish it will cause to thousands of innocent people. In particular the detentions of a couple of hundred people can't possibly have any positive effect on the security of US citizens, but some of those people must have been absolutely distraught.
Maybe instead of being distraught they should rise up against their oppressors and take their country back. They wouldn't be on this list.
I'm not disagreeing with you about those in transit. They have approved Visas hence the rule on procedure. If the law or the order were unconstitutional, then then they would have been vacated, but they were not.
I didn't lose as I'm not a US citizen. I just enjoy the spectacle from the other side of the ocean. Just when the US finally got some of its credibility back after eight years Obama, you vote Trump in the White House? We're just glad you're making a bigger mess than we do.
But in the end we're all losing. Trump is not the man that will bring us closer together. We can just hope there won't be a Third World War in the four years his in office. And let's hope he doesn't destroy the planet with his climate change hoax nonsense. That's what's worrying me. His outdated views on economics versus environment are dangerous because he thinks that the only way to boost the economy is to grow and pollute. And environmental laws just get in the way. So why not continue lying to the people that climate change is invented by the Chinese? Sad!
Only the most willfully ignorant (or just plain dumb) would argue that Trump and his supporters haven't repeatedly nodded to the more racist elements within the Republican Party for political gain. The amount of unbelievably racist crap spewed towards Obama over the past eight years proved that racism is alive and well and in this country. Anyone who can't see that is either racist, ignorant, or, giving the benefit of the doubt, very very naive.
News flash, the inner city (read poor) was a dumpster fire under Obama. All he and his peeps did was give lip service. Now maybe you liked him because he made you feel all fuzzy on the outside, but back home it was a disaster that was made worse by his oppressive policies toward American workers.

And support for Trump from avowed white supremacists has been widely covered. That's an actual thing. Very unwise of the Apple CEO to communicate like this. If there are ANY Apple employees affected (which I highly doubt) this should be an extremely small and insignificant number. As we are talking here about a TEMPORARY measure to evaluate the process.
If I would 'escape' from the dictatorial EU regime and try to aim for asylum in the USA my chances of being allowed into the USA are zero. I would be deported ASAP. And let's be honest this whole refugee/immigrant thing is one big scam with a big industry backing it up. This industry has NOTHING to do with honest people fleeing for their lives, these are calculated business cases with lots of people making money along the process. They send one family member first and then the government will take care that the other members of the family are being flown over.
Lucky for us we have Gutmenschen like Timmy Cook who will know what is best for us and our society. They have very high moral opinions that we all should follow and respect.

Rights come from the constitution. I would think you would be in favor of elected officials following said constitution.

No point blaming Trump or Farage. They're only doing what the majority of people voted for. The fact is milions of people in the UK & US voted against the establishment for whatever reason. You have to blame the political class for that failure to connect with their own people. The next few years are certainly going to be interesting.
