This has been a **** show for a very long time and Clinton wanted to change nothing.

Trump claims he wants to change things for the people so I'm going to give him a shot before I call all his supporters racists coming out of hiding.

"Look at how Trump has given these racists the opportunity to come out of the shadows"

That's what YOU said and by doing so you effectively called all of his supporters(46%) racists.

oh boo hoo I hope I didn't hurt their little racists feeling

you align yourself with a racist, you are most likely a racist

also let me point out that this statement

"Look at how Trump has given these racists the opportunity to come out of the shadows"

doesn't even allude to all Trump supporters being racists; just the ones who are, are coming out of the shadows but I guess percentages and reading are hard

How exactly would his father meet the mother, bruh?
'Birth

Schieble became pregnant in 1954 when she and Jandali spent the summer with his family in Homs, Syria."

His mother was in Syria apparently and met the father AND conceived IN Syria...

... Bruh...

So....you want to try again? Or does this help fix the narrative you are trying to push? As we can clearly see this BAN from ENTRY would have no impact on this scenario and when you guys use it, you look stupid.

In point of fact, less than 20% of the population voted for the current president. And obviously not all of them are "racist."
Yes, you are correct. I was just trying to simplify the numbers. whay is the actual percentage of able voters that actually go vote? Is it really half?

You would not speak to someone this way if you weren't hiding behind a computer.

And yes without any clarification it does allude to all trump supporters. That's exactly what you were trying to do though.

So you basically admit that we are living in a world of chaos under Trumps rule! Everybody from the presidential administration to local courts is confused and contradicting each either. Yep, worse nightmare comes true!!!
Holy hyperbole snowflake! Calm down. Christ.
[doublepost=1485704460][/doublepost]
I have no idea what you are saying, or if you agree or disagree with me. Try spelling it out in declarative sentences.
It was pretty clear what he said.

So WHEN IS Cook going to run for president then? He seems to be concentrating on politics giving his 'opinion' out that nobody asked for... more so then the entire Mac lineup.

Oh I see is he joining in the trendy famous people against Trump movement of late?

Why would TC run for president? That's the silliest thing i've heard.

I get it. You don't think he should have his employee's back and stand up for them. Or communicate his views to employees via private company email.

Fortunately, because you apparently would not stand up for your employees and would roll over to trump's demands with the wind, you are not a CEO of one of the most successful companies in the world. You would fail miserably not looking out for your employees.

Nope, it's just a meaningless silly and angry oneliner. A four years old can do that.
Seriously....award goes to this sjw.
[doublepost=1485704816][/doublepost]
For your information, I don't vote for a socialist party. Second, you seem to be emotional affected by the term socialism. Just take a deep breath and stay on topic.
Who says trump runs socialist?
[doublepost=1485704880][/doublepost]
Now why am I not suprized? ;)

That depends on the context, that is when you considder "thinking about a situation before acting' is something worth consideration. Intelligent leaders don't lean on just one of the two approaches you're stating here.

And let me ask you, why do you bother buying a color tv when everything looks black and white to you?
Nice ..trying to avoid the question. I'm done.

Apple doesn't ban people from other countries but in effect they do so with their products. Let's release new laptops with one type of port so that all existing equipment can't connect without needing an additional adapter. Sorry but your USB cable is banned from this laptop.

They aren't in the law so Congress would need to add them to the list. Therefore Trump has no authority to issue the order with regard to Pakistan or a Saudi or he would be creating law.

Once again, the obvious escapes people. Trump is enforcing laws already on the books. The only part he got wrong was denying already approved Visas, but why not swing for the fence and take the triple.

Wait. What? There is no ban for Pakistan and Saoudi Arabia because they're not in the law? Is this one of these alternative facts? Why do people keep inventing stuff to defend Trump?

Oh yes, because facts, science, logic and reason don't matter anymore

Obviously, I would want to keep them there until proper procedures can be adhered to. Do you know how long that would take? If you were a Syrian refugee who's home, belongings and family which had just been taken from you, how long would it take to prove you are not a threat?

It seems to me the immigration system needs fixed instead of banning people from the Middle East. This is just another temporary fix that will lead to more hate and violence towards America.

Well, the order expires in 90 days.

When he ran, the promise was a temporary ban from immigrants coming in from the worlds most dangerous countries until we figure out what the hell is going on.

How many attacks world wide had taken place since his campaign had kicked off? These attackers all had one thing in common. So when you see the trend over the last decade of these major brutal attacks being muslims that came into these countries stating different intentions than what the actual intention was, and after the fact seeing the activity they were involved in leading to the attacks, the intelligence communities dropped balls all over the place leaving countries once again reacting rather than being proactive.

The order and promise was not saying we are shutting our borders for good and nobody can ever get in again, it is saying that the Trojan horse is going to burn, and we will let you in this country when we know you are safe to enter this country. A year from now when the country is safer than it is today, I am sure there will be much more appreciation for this order after the fact than the off the cuff responses being given right now.

One other note, nobody is abandoning those Syrian refugees, it has been explained many times, you don't have to bring them in here to keep them safe. There are refugee camps set up in Syria these people can find refuge and security in their own country so we don't have to worry about the bad seeds entering our country disguised as one of those refugees.

Go read the law. I posted it. It's quite specific.

Judge ruled Trump likely acted against the constitution in his first week in office. Yeah, nothing to see here. It's not like he swore an oath or anything.

Also, FYI, the judge did not lift the ban, she halted the ridiculous cruel theatre of deporting people who had already arrived with visas and green cards. The ban is still in effect.

Meanwhile it may get worse, with Trump's goons supposedly plotting to demand foreigners share all their social media accounts, web browsing habits, and phone contacts under threat of deportation. All because one internet post by the San B. killer.

You are insane to support this. It will not work, and then the Grabbenfuhrer will start blaming internal enemies for his failures, and focussing his hate ray on the press, scientists, rights campaigners, disloyal politicians and 'intellectual elites' (aka people who aren't stupid).

You realize your second paragraph contradicts the first. I'm aware of what the judge did.

Way to go overboard with your last two paragraphs.

You do realize we already have an extensive vetting process in place, and Trump is primarily doing this to make it look like he's in charge? He can stop things for a while, f**king up a lot of people's lives, then start it back up mostly unchanged later on, and take credit for "putting a vetting process in place" (which is how Fox News will report it). A lot of his followers seem to think that just anybody can walk in now with no checking. But then there's Trump supporters right here in this thread who don't understand there's a difference between workers legally here on a green card and illegal immigrants.
[doublepost=1485676985][/doublepost]
Less than half of voters voted for him. Hillary won the popular vote.
YOU do realize he is trying to ENFORCE THE EXISTING LAWS? Get a f
He's applying section 306 of HR 3525. But hey, some people think he's just making up law.

Link to the actual law he is enforcing:

Mr Mackey says "facts are bad, m-kay".

Who needs facts when someone will slip you a check to spend four hours standing around with a stupid cardboard sign at an airport.

not one single terrorist act has been committed on U.S. soil by someone with a

You are the problem with America right now, you think nothing he's doing is wrong. I'm sure you also think it's ok to build this wall, that will accomplish nothing more than become a monument to the Oompa Loompa. I'm sure you also think its fine to brag about grabbing a woman's "*****" without their consent. I'm sure you think it's fine to lie about almost everything (there were significantly fewer crowds). I'm sure you think it's fine for the president to put his personal EGO above national interests, to disrespect minorities or the disabled. This is a very scary time - the inmates are running the asylum.
Boy, you are an emotional wreck. Time to put on your big boy pants and grow up.

So, did he support the summary execution of foreign nationals via drone? How about US citizens?

Why does Cook have to say anything at all? Is he going to make a statement about every Executive Order now?
Right...there are likely to be 1000 Executive Orders by the end of the year....this is Fascism....

Yes it is true that money begets money. However, the progressive movement wasn't about giving people a hand up so that they could better stand on their own two feet. It was rather about creating a society dependent on entitlements and handouts. And people don't want to work if they don't have to once they find out the government will take care of them for free.

And that is the truly dangerous environment.

So you think the way to help the middle class is to cut taxes for the one segment of the population that has seen enormous income growth since 1998? Oh, and scrap affordable healthcare, destroy public schools, cripple the country with insane debt from building a useless wall, abandon plans to make university more affordable, and cut environmental regulations that protect people. That is Trump's explicit platform. In other words, handing the country over to billionaires with zero interest in the little guy.

Interesting..

Anyone else having a little battery burn with the latest update? My phone went from 100% to 90% in the first hour today as it just sat there on the coffee table. What the heck Tim? Do something useful.

Well, many of the viewpoints towards Trump shared by the so called political "elite" are being share among 'ordinary' people as well. I think it's a bit silly to divide people into simplistic groups. Even more because it's rather irrelevant. The very fact that Tim Cook shares his view on immigration issues has a lot to do with the fact that Apple has many people working for them world wide. And this controversy caused by the Trump administration demands in that context an answer. Tim Cook is the leader of Apple so it's a no brainer that he's the one coming with a reply.

That's just emotional speculation. I wonder where your future telling glass sphere is coming from, China?

Yeap, it's not his opinion personally, it's his opinion because it saves money and maximises profit whilst ignoring those who demand higher wages like Americans and on that from Trump is right. You want to stop poverty in your own country, you stop Jobs being outsourced in the name of profits.
And I also disagree that not assuming all of Apples employees share Cooks opinions is using simplistic groups.

There's nothing affordable about "affordable health care". It why it needs to be fixed. There's no indication they will go Rand Paul on it. The wall is already law and it is needed. Education isn't free, nor should it be. It's the first step in making responsible financial choices. By the way, Trump cares more about the "little guy" than Obama, Bush and Clinton combined. Those three didn't give a flying flip about the little guy. Being rich doesn't make you callous, some people need to get over this "he's gone money so he doesn't give a rip" nonsense while they ignore the actions of politicians drunk on power like they'll actually do something...ever.

When my grandparents and mother came to the US as refugees from Germany, they had to:
1. Have a job waiting for them
2. Swear that they weren't going to do bad things to the US, or the people that live here.
3. Have paperwork that proved who they were. It was a pretty bad thing back in 1950's Germany, especially if you were born in East Germany, and were shot at coming past the border. Having "papers" was a catch-22. You need them to prove who you were, and if you had them, and were caught by the Stasi, you and your family paid the price, whether your family helped you or not. Plus, a lot of documents were destroyed in the war.
4. Wait in the country of origin (in their case, it was West Germany, which wasn't as bad as East Germany) until you were approved.
5. Have a sponsor that would help them assimilate

I'm not sure how things are different now, but I feel for people on both sides.

Nothing has changed, just the names. Well, that and these days a lot of people cut in line and get crowds to back them up overwhelming the system leaving people like your grandparents and mother wondering what the hell happened. Good news though, this President actually cares about people that are patiently standing in line and couldn't care less about the inconsiderate loud mouthed line hoppers who think they are entitled to be here.
