please provide legal evidence that it's unconstitutional.

As far as I know there is no real legal case against most of DACA (there is one small part of DACA that is questionable), the Supreme Court was divided 4-4 along party lines in a 2016 case challenging programs similar to DACA. so do please provide evidence that it is unconstitutional. or are you quoting Fox news or the alt-right (which I suspect)??

Please don't waste time on such arguments. Can you show me anywhere in the US code where it says immigration law is set by executive order? In any case... like it or not, whoever sourced it, as if that matters, it IS an executive order and therefore can be rescinded by an executive order, legal case or not. Dont like it? make it a law.

If all the young "dreamer" Apple employees have to leave, Apple can then hire a bunch of older U.S. citizens (who are likely underemployed due to facing age discrimination) to replace them. The "dreamers" can then go back to their country of birth to apply for legal immigration (if they are qualified), and wait their turn behind all those people who have already applied for legal immigration ahead of them.

Or even better, hire veterans for those jobs. We should not be treating illegal immigrants better than veterans.

Do you know what else is disgusting? People who have no idea what racism actually is, and instead, applies it to things that others disagree with in an effort to shut them up so as to not hear what they're actually saying.
Let us all remember that trump was sued for racial discrimination but the US Government. He is also the main cog that publicly, and wrongly, and continues until this day, to believe the "Central Park Five" are guilty. He's also the biggest advocate for Obama not being an American citizen. So, to claim people calling trump racist is an effort to "shut them (him) up," is a bit short sighted. Going by record, trump, at the very least, has a rather large racial bias, and his continued pandering to the racist section of his base, further cements it. To call trump a racist isn't a stretch by any means given his business history, and actions, and his public comments.

President’s press secretary says DACA recipients won’t be targeted for deportation. But Jeff Sessions didn’t say that and supposedly ICE was told they can use information DACA recipients provided to deport them.

Tim Cook == One troll per day just because he's not brave enough for officially starting his political career and leaving us in peace.

good for him. if these people are working, paying their taxes, and obeying the law, what is the problem?

"but they're illegal!" their parents may have been, but they (the kids) were brought here or born here without any choice. now we've let them live here and develop skills, and contribute to our society and people want to send them away?

why would you punish someone for a crime they did not commit? absolutely no one on earth appreciates being at fault for something they did not do.

EDIT: also, my imagination tells me that we have already spent tax money on them, for example by putting them through public school. now we're going to piss away those skills and give that away to somewhere else?

They weren't born here. If they had been, they would be actual US citizens. With all the rights that other US citizens have.

I agree with you on the fact that many of them have probably received free educations paid for by the tax payers. I do think, assuming they have a spotless criminal record and are contributing to society by working and paying taxes etc, congress should work something out to build a process for them to apply for citizenship and not force them to leave the country till that process has concluded.

I'm a shareholder too and I like that he's sticking up for a minority group that makes up a small group of his staff. I'm sure he wouldn't fire those of them who became residents or citizens. You're benefitting off the fact that he, like most other tech companies, is employing them to make the product that you use everyday better. Margins are high to keep you happy as well.

You’re on point! So basically, it’s not black and white...

I feel strongly for these kids, as an immigrant myself. My family came here legally, however, and used the social safety net as little as possible as we got on our feet and started giving back. I sure hope the right people can get citizenship and keep their great jobs. So they can make awesome products and increase my share value!

Now, if you sneak into this country and pop out kids, get your ass back home. No country but America has this ridiculous culture of lax immigration enforcement.

Americans clearly wanted this seeing how they VOTED for Trump.

Well, sorry for bringing it up again, but first of all, he didn’t win the majority of votes by a few millions, and second does it make an inhuman decision better if the majority of people grants it? Oh yeah, guess who else was elected a few 50 years back in good old Germany?

Good for Cook. If the dreamers are good for Apple, then Apple should support them financially, not every other working tax paying American. American was built on immigration, but not once during the heyday of immigration did American provide free handouts that equalled or were better than entry paying jobs. America can no longer afford to unlimited support, regardless of whether its a good idea or not.

If you are in a better state financially than America in general, then you are free to directly support these illegal immigrants.

Wouldn't it make sense to just define who is a DACA immigrant and give them exactly one year to learn English (if they haven't already, most probably have) and apply for AND become a US citizen? If they don't, they're out. Seems fair.

All of my very white ancestors hopped boats and got here first, settled and then figured out how to become citizens. Nobody batted an eye.

Yeah you seem to forgot your history before it was America it was a British Colony before that it belonged to the original natives so tell us how your ancestors where citizens of AMERICA when there was no America. Under Trump we are failing American History.

I am for strong immigration laws, hate DACA, and I hate immigrants that live in the US for years and never learn a single word of English.
But no way I will accept a language test for immigration purposes.

People are jumping to an unknown conclusion. Congress has been assigned the task of replacing DACA. Until we know what that looks like, it's hard to argue that those currently covered will be negatively affected. It may be very similar in the end.

Look, Trump is a horrible person. Morals and ethics are not part of his thinking. But this is one of those politically charged agendas being used to get people worked up. It's not yet to the point of huge concern.

What this does mean is that this is a topic to watch and if Congress is failing or appearing to fail to address this in a humane and American manner, then it will be more reason to scare the hell out of these DACA workers. Right now it's just something to be mad at Trump about and really there's plenty of stuff to mad at him about outside of this.
