This is exactly what is wrong with the gay agenda today - it's filled with hate and intolerance. Any who doesn't goose-step to the gay agenda gets attacked. The gay agenda is using the same tactics against Christians today, that the KKK used against blacks decades ago. It's pure unfiltered hate, wrapped in a rainbow colored flag.

Gays confront "Christians" because they are tired of "Christians" trying to justify discrimination with their mythological "belief". Seriously, if someone really considers "my 'god' hates that!" to be a valid base for laws regarding equality or same-sex marriage, then he deserves to get the according response. It is not intolerance to speak against someone trying to push his own mythological "belief" onto others, be it in a social manner or in the described legal manner.

Do you understand genetics? I know the answer to that question. Do you know about gene expression, or how one gene can have multiple effects? Or how environmental factors, including those during development, influence what genes are turned on and when? It's not as simple as one gene = one trait because it's not a blueprint; it's a recipe. It's why identical twins can look different, among other things.

Engaging in homosexual intercourse is.

I think they were referring to the latter.

Having the inclination and desire to kill people doesn't make me a murderer (in the eyes of the law, at least).

Killing someone does.

I can understand that. However, we have seen MANY people using this to attack those of us who aren't fans of the gay agenda. I'm all for people being uplifted, but I don't think I need to be attacked for having a different opinion and few of the world.

Yup. And I believe the gay teen suicide rate is still about double that of straight teens (last time I checked). So yes, it's still a problem. Kids are dying due to a culture of intolerance and in my mind, anyone who has ever uttered a slur or expressed intolerance has some degree of blood on their hands. Someone else posted the tired old counterpoint of "why don't people come out as straight". It's hard for me to believe that anyone without a developmental disability can be so profoundly simple... but to answer the question, it's because there's no shame in being straight (Duh). Our entire culture is biased towards straights. Just turn on a TV or open a magazine or listen to any song anywhere. It's wall-to-wall straight culture. Which makes sense since the majority are straight, but that's why. I really don't understand why it's so hard for some people to just accept everyone for who they are as long as they're not causing any harm to anyone. And it seems so twisted and backwards to me that the most religious among us are often the most intolerant and judgemental. Bizarre.

Again with this "gay agenda" stuff. What is this gay agenda and why haven't I received a copy? You're SO PARANOID about this stuff and you've posted a lot more than I'd expect from someone who "doesn't care" about this subject. Odd.

Oh so true .... because wikipedia can be edited by us ... the bible on the other hand, the book which we are 'not allowed to doubt as it is the true word of god' is only based on translation upon translation upon selection upon translation upon censorship upon hearsay of word of mouth!

but he was himself. and he was open with the people that really matter to him.

What is wrong is this notion that sexuality is THE defining factor of a person and that we are owed an answer by our public figures because of some nasty notion that they gave up all basic rights to be rich, famous, etc. Being gay or straight doesn't make him a nicer person or a smarter one. Its just a single checkbox among many things.

And what's your point? Gay people should spend their lives unloved, no sex, no intimacy to make your imaginary sky wizard happy.
