Apple CEO Tim Cook Publicly Comes Out as Gay in Letter Declaring Support for Equality

The debate is not against animals. It is about human, moral choice. Galatians Chapter 5 is the best explanation for my argument, as it outlines the acts of the sinful nature (man's natural state) and how it is in conflict with the fruit of the Spirit of God, which comes from accepting Christ as your Lord.

With regards to "experimentation", the Bible has this to say, both old and new testaments (again, don't shoot the messenger):

Leviticus 20:13: "'If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."

1 Corinthians 6:9: "Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men, nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

So yes, it does say it. Specifically.

However, to that it adds the escape clause, as it were:

1 Timothy 1:9 onwards: "We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers--and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me. I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus."

But it is true; I never chose to be gay, nor did any of my countless gay friends. So don't try to turn sexual orientation/attraction in the "choice" category to justify hate or religious objections. You know what I got out of your wall of text? You're just another religious person who picks and chooses what parts of the Bible to believe and/or follow unless you don't eat shellfish or wear mixed blend clothing or your wife wasn't a virgin or...

Leviticus 11:10-12 also says:

10And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

Shellfish are an abomination. And not just any abomination, it's called one FOUR TIMES! Like, WOW! God hates seafood!

So I guess all those against being gay, due to Leviticus, are also taking the charge to Red Lobster, and all those sinful fisherman. Hop to it if you're not, you don't want to displease the big 'G' upstairs now.

According to you, you are the source of right and wrong. Unfortunately, people disagree on that. Morality, by definition, has to be agreed upon, hence our discussion. If you lived in the world alone, morality would not be necessary. If you are to live in peace with others, then it is indispensable.

I assume you're a believer. Why would god make homosexuals if it wasn't right? Why do dozens of animal species practice it?

I have nothing against gays, but I'm a believer so I could answer this. When sin was brought into this world by Eva's choice, imperfections applied. Therefore when a child is born with a pedophile sexual orientation, it was not what was intended. Neither was it intended that people are born with diseases, downs syndrome etc. That's how it works, and that's why I still can be against pedophiles practicing their sexual orientation even though they're most likely born into it.

I'm not comparing homosexuals, pedophiles and people with downs, it's just the same principle.

OK... so you make this conclusion based on what? Can you read Aramaic? Are you able to certify that what is written in what you call the 'Bible' is a proper and direct translation of this original text (of which many parts are missing)?

Can you also explain to me why some 10 books of the new testament have been censored away and somehow are not part of your 'bible' anymore? Perhaps they were contradicting some of the other books?

Not being a believer does not mean i have no knowledge. The bible, as one of the pillars - however misused and misinterpreted - of our society is an essential part of our culture. As is the Odyssey, Beowulf, King Arthur's legend and many other 'important' books.

So if you choose to discard 99% of your cultural heritage and base your life and beliefs on just 1% of incomplete and dubious text.... so be it!
