Well in short it is based on a very simple principle:
Be good to those who are good to you..... and ******* the rest!
I wish Tim Cooke well, but I wish he had not done this. While it is social progress to treat one another with respect, certain behaviors are not respectable no matter what our salvation-by-survey culture says. Any sexual union outside of a committed heterosexual marriage helps facilitate of one or more real, measurable problems: sex trafficking, prostitution, the spread of veneral diseases, broken relationships, and very often great emotional distress. A person may be born gay just as a person may be born with alcoholism written into their DNA code. Neither is a good thing. Such people do not need ridicule. They need help. Sadly, the homosexual community keeps saying this is normal and have no hope of finding better.
You are correct. It is a fallacy. Let me correct it so it communicates the intent of the message:

Sex between humans and animals is only questionable because it's hard to tell if the animal consented. But on the other hand, millions of animals are slaughtered for food each day and I am pretty sure they do not consent either.
