It's hypocritical of Tim Cook to chastise Trump for pulling out of the Paris accord, while at the same time continuing to outsource its production to China, which never agreed to be part of the Paris accord in the first place. China's lax environmental regulations is one of the reasons they can produce iPhones so cheap, and one of the reasons Tim is so rich.

These CEOs don't really care about the environment. They only care about lining their own pockets.

I think more than likely it's that those who signed on saw ways to lined certain pockets. That's all.

Or it's supporters?

How much money did the US put into the till last year, and who took money out last year?

You know last year isn't the issue. It's the plunder potential going forward.

What does this have to do with the discussion about Tim Cook? And what fascism in the EU? Unelected?

This forum has reached fresh all time lows, just like the US administration.
How about this. Tim should be busy whipping his designers to give us something other than "it's a micron thinner". He should not be spending his time writing open letters that don't matter.

Right. And only Syria and Nicaragua ( and Trump ) are intelligent enough to be able to see into this conspiracy. Because all the other countries on the planet are "globalists".

Globalised is the word when referring to nations. You have your work cut out for you but it's not impossible.

Here is a beautiful quote form the Club of Rome 1991.

"The common enemy of humanity is man.
In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up
with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming,
water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these
dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through
changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome.
The real enemy then, is humanity itself
."
- Club of Rome,

Consultants to the United Nations

So in case that's not clear, you are the enemy.

Lol.

here is exactly what they said :
"In their totality and their interactions these phenomena do constitute a common threat which must be confronted by everyone together. But in designating these dangers as the enemy, we fall into the trap, which we have already warned readers about, namely mistaking symptoms for causes. All these dangers are caused by human intervention in natural processes, and it is only through changed attitudes and behaviour that they can be overcome. The real enemy then is humanity itself"

You can't just modify facts to fit what you want believe. That's not how it works.
So in case that's not clear, mmm....there is nothing that will help.

So it seems like it´s the same story as always:
Free Market Capitalism > Government..

So, just continue to vote for the good- and responsible stuff with your wallet every day and we should all be fine.

Not referring to our currency. We do not have any money, essentially broke. Debt is how we roll. If we put bonds on the market, nobody bid, no money. The money is very relevant to the point of which money rises or falls on the world markets.

Uh, but if you're not trading with anybody else that doesn't matter at all.

Let's see is Tim is all talk. Back it up by leaving the council. That will show Apple is truly dedicated.

I don't know enough about the topic, but I certainly applaud Apple for their commitments in this area. From what I have read, the current deal is not a great one for America and can end up costing us more than the other countries in the pact. Now, if Trump does make the efforts (and that is a HUGE if) to renegotiate a deal to put us back into the agreement, I think it would be the right move. It does need to be fair for the country. We'll see though. Again, I am no expert on this topic and this is only my opinion.

Also, if the air becomes so polluted it's unbreathable, just sell them gas masks. And making gas maks is good for the economy. Therefore pollution is good for humanity.
It's so obvious I don't understand why these globalist oligarchic commies don't get it.

It's probably all that time spent in school. Education is bad for the brain. Trump gets it, that's why he chose to be so uneducated.

Stop going to school guys ! Soon you'll start believing in science and all that "the earth is round " crap...

Really? A tad dramatic, arent we? Just because Trump rightfully got us OUT of some draconian "deal" that screws the US taxpayers and strangles our businesses doesnt mean everyone is going to die. Stop with the BS.

Yes, but Trump believes that all scientists are oligarchic communist globalists. Therefore science is wrong and he is right.
And the proof that he is right is that he is rich. If you're not rich , you're not intelligent ( he actually said that). And most scientists are not rich, therefore scientists are less intelligent that Trump.

That's why you people can't grasp the powerful meaning of covfefe.

Looks like fake news, when did he say that? The media are masters in turning Trump's quotes around and putting words in his mouth like you are doing now.

I could only find this:
"If you can't get rich dealing with politicians, there's something wrong with you."
[doublepost=1496402975][/doublepost]
yeah , but that scientist only helped eradicate smallpox. Trump on the other , he built a TOWER.
So who are you going to listen to, huh ?

Did you even read my post before quoting it?

This is the saddest day in American politics since the assassination of MLK. If you don't think that, I doubt your sanity.

You are the insane one if you think that's the case. Also, MLK wasn't in politics, he was a civil rights leader. 99% of people don't even know what's in the accord. And everyone wants a clean planet, but we need to get their without massive job losses.

The next iPhone will be thicker. Just sayin'.

Don't worry. Tim is complaining now but he will find a way to profit.

New products coming soon from Apple:

The Apple Gas Mask (iMask)
Apple HVAC (iCooler)
Apple Home Air Purifier (iClean)
Apple Safe Space (iSnowflake)
